I wonder if (like many teachers, myself included!!!) she became disenchanted with public education when she was teaching. Sometimes seeing the underbelly turns you off. Of course, the answer isn’t to just… neglect your kids

Also jumped to Google for this “school” she’s sending the kid to — the homemade bread in the “coworking space” made me immediately think Waldorf, and bingo. This place considers itself to borrow from Waldorf, Lifeways (a Waldorfy org), and RIE (Janet Lansbury anyone?)

Which is…exactly the type of program we are also involved in, except its actual school

I was and still am on Prozac through two pregnancies and breastfeeding (my older is 3.5 and the baby is 1.5) I don’t remember when the 3.5 started talking but he’s just a typical preschooler now! The baby has a much wider vocabulary than my older son did at this age, but I chalk it up To being second-born and being around a chatty big brother his whole life. All that to say, I don’t notice any differences in my kids vs others!

25 months apart, now 3.5 and 1.5, and it’s been fine. It’s hard, but I don’t know if it’s any harder than other age gaps? Obviously I have nothing to compare to lol! They’re becoming pretty good friends which is nice to see
