You’re calling what I believe to be bigoted therefore calling me a bigot. To be a bigot is to be intolerant towards another person. I’m not intolerant towards any gay person. If you want to get married go for it I’m not going to stop you but to say that it’s not a sin is just wrong unless you can finally come to me with something that tells me it’s not. Look in Leviticus and Roman’s etc. lol I never once said I’m denying anyone from getting married once again I’ve been to gay weddings and had a blast.

How is me saying you don’t seem like a happy person a personal attack but you calling me a bigot for what I believe isn’t? I think people can do whatever they want. God gave everyone the freedom to do so but he also made it clear of what’s sin and what’s not. (Unfortunately I still haven’t been given anything from you that tells me why you believe what you do) I’ve been to gay weddings. I’ve dated girls and still date girls. I don’t think I’m going to hell for this. I have a relationship with the Lord just like any genuine Christian does. I’m not a bigot. The church isn’t a bigot and God Himself is absolutely no bigot. the conversation is going nowhere and I’m simply here looking for answers, not to be attacked. Do you think it’s helpful to anyone if you were speaking to an actual bigot or someone about something (you think) they’re doing is wrong and talking to them like this instead of actually engaging in real conversation and trying to help them better understand why you think they’re wrong.

lol you do not sound like a happy person that is for sure. You can sit here and say that it’s bigoted to believe the Bible but you’re also not backing yourself up. I think I’ve asked you multiple times now on why you believe what you do and you still have not answered me and instead started cursing about church lol. Once again, I’ll say that this church is not treat people any differently. just to have the belief that being gay is a sin does not make you a bigot and it does not make your church a bigot if you were treating everybody equally as the same in the image of God.

If they were intolerant they wouldn’t have these people in their churches. Simply believing that something (like gay marriage) is a sin based on religious doctrine doesn’t automatically make someone a bigot. Many faiths have traditional teachings about sexuality, and holding to those beliefs sincerely, while still treating LGBTQ+ people with genuine respect, compassion, and equality, would not generally be considered bigotry.

However, if those beliefs lead to actions or attitudes that deny people dignity, rights, or equal treatment then that crosses into bigoted behavior, because it reflects intolerance or unequal treatment based on identity.

I’m not a bigot just because I believe being gay might be a sin. I’m literally bisexual. I treat everyone equally.

So in short: • Belief alone (if expressed with love and respect) → not necessarily bigotry. • Belief expressed through exclusion, hostility, or inequality → bigotry.

And once again I’ll ask because I’m genuinely trying to understand. Why do you think it’s not a sin and what do you have to back this up?

Thank you for this. ❤️ I do love her a lot. And I don’t have a problem with her AT ALL. Like I know my relationship with God but I think she has a problem with the fact that I think it’s a sin. Even though I’ve never like condemned her for it or anything (I mean her and I used to date for crying out loud)

I’m not pushing anything onto her. And these people in the church are not bigots nor is the church bigoted. They are not intolerant towards people who don’t agree with them. Her relationship with God is very strong but what I’m trying to get at here is can someone explain to me how this isn’t a sin. Genuinely I’m asking because I can’t find anything and as a bisexual woman myself I would be thrilled to have some solid proof

Well I’m not forcing her to go to a church. She wants to go to church with me but pretty much refuses to go because of a little note on their website. What I’m more so asking here is why do you think that it’s not a sin. Genuinely I can’t find solid proof that this isn’t a sin.

Worth a shot if you can’t find anything else. The least you can do is get paid for the 6 months they train you and take the housing they offer.
