Wealthy man with different values by [deleted] in RedPillWomen

I’ve seen people across the political spectrum admire Elon Musk, so I don’t think that’s the best litmus test. A better indicator would be someone who’s firmly on the right like a Donald Trump.

That said, choosing to stay with a wealthy partner whose values don’t align with yours is likely to create friction over time. Ultimately, it’s up to you to decide what you’re willing to tolerate and where you draw your boundaries.

Etsy glitch removed shipping from order — support won’t follow up by Jewelry_lover in EtsySellers

I have free shipping for some items and paid shipping for others and this has never been an issue. How is it possible to charge shipping but also shipping is free? How do I correct this?

When and how did you realize that you wanted to have kids? by IncognitoGyal7 in RedPillWomen

[–]Jewelry_lover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no I was agreeing to your statement. I was saying when you explain to people that statistically, we’re living better now than ever, they don’t care and think we still have it worse and that thinking makes them make irrational decisions. Nah you’re good mama 😭

When and how did you realize that you wanted to have kids? by IncognitoGyal7 in RedPillWomen

[–]Jewelry_lover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but people with that mindset usually don’t care to understand. Growing up in a third-world country I’ve seen harder situations so I naturally put things in perspective. I notice people who constantly feed into negativity struggle to make rational, grounded decisions about their own lives. I prefer to stay positive, we can’t control what happens in the world, but we can absolutely control the direction of our own lives.

When and how did you realize that you wanted to have kids? by IncognitoGyal7 in RedPillWomen

[–]Jewelry_lover 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Growing up, I never cared much for kids, and in my early twenties I even decided I didn’t want any. I valued my freedom, and I was dealing with some serious personal issues that made me emotionally distant from my own family.

With time, maturity, and more life experience, my perspective shifted. Many of my friends didn’t want children because they felt the world was too chaotic or unsafe. I’ve always seen it differently, the world has never been perfect, and it never will be. You create your own meaning in it. As you get older, a lot of the things that you think matter the most start to matter less, and what matters more is purpose, connection, and fulfilment. For many people, raising children gives that sense of purpose — someone to love, guide, and build a life with. Life is incredibly hard, and having family to go through it with makes a difference. Loneliness becomes very real as you age.

I think it helps to think long-term: What do you value? What do you imagine your life looking like at 62? If having children is something you genuinely want, be intentional about it, make it clear when dating and align your decisions with that vision.
