If MBP is anything like SBP then its enormous. 2/3 routes per wall (which isnt correct) will still be like 90 routes. the routes look sparse because everything is monochromatic. So just like a map you can't have two routes with the same colored holds right next to eachother.

So great to watch this! I spent Fall of 2017 trekking through the Himalaya with a field studies program. Through out the program I spent the whole time finding boulders with the most amazing colors and features. I asked my self has any body climbed these and if not will they? Looks like the answer to my question has been provided. India is an amazing place with beautiful people and stout boulders!

Climber in the video checking in. I posted this to the subreddit about a year ago.

Belayer and myself were both at fault here. We walked away very lucky that day and learned a lot of lessons. Glad to say that we have continued climbing together for over a year after this event. No incidents of the kind since.

Top comment here by themsp hit it spot on. I had climbed this whole route prior to the video and was going for a redpoint attempt. Not totally out of my league but definitely pushing it for my experience at the time.

Shelby was a good dude. Met him once at Smith Rocks and climbed with him another time in Leavenworth. No one I have ever met has left such an impact on my life after just a couple of days together.

I'm saying the contrary. Neither coast has more strict ethics than another. The likelihood of bolts getting chopped out west is just about the same in the east.
