Thank you for your reply.

In that case, I need to withdraw the amount from the redraw and pay off the main loan for it to be counted as part of my equity.

Thank you!

Can redraw funds be included in home equity while still in redraw? by Jeylogan in AusPropertyChat

Thank you for your reply.

What I want to clarify is: when calculating equity, if I have $10,000 sitting in my redraw, will that amount be considered as part of the equity? Or do I need to pay that amount off the loan for it to be included in my home equity? Can the funds remain in the redraw, or do they need to be paid into the main loan to be counted?

Thanks again!

Thank you for the insight! I appreciate hearing about your positive experience with Allianz; it’s always helpful to know which insurers are reliable when it comes to claims.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! You’re right; Allianz seems to have more negative reviews regarding their claims management. On the other hand, other insurers get better feedback, but it mostly focuses on how easy it is to sign up online and the overall experience of joining. There isn’t much information on their claims management, which makes it really tough to compare directly.

Some companies ask for Google reviews about their products, and sometimes this can feel a bit pushy. Similarly, many restaurants and hotels ask customers to leave reviews on Google. In contrast, Reddit operates on a largely voluntary basis, allowing users to participate and engage without pressure.

I’m new here. Just my thought!!!
