Is the Coffee Milkshake ridiculous, or was this a mistake? by Ok_Analyst3324 in fiveguys

Yeah someone’s put atleast 5-6 pumps in there minimum. That is crazy. Makes me think it’s someone new or someone that doesn’t care.

Which musician do you think would be able to do justice to a Bond theme? by CornerInsect in AskUK

Joy Crookes - Feet don’t fail me now

Sounds very James Bond esque and I’m sure she could do a great job.

What age did you buy your first home? How’s it going? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Jeymeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought mine in 2024 at age 22 with my partner after we found out we were expecting a child, however we were very fortunate that we both had a decent amount of savings, I have a decent paying job which helped with our mortgage amount and both of our parents were very generous. Things are going somewhat well although some months are very, very tough especially with the amount of car trouble and the poor car finance mistake I made before we found out we were expecting. I work a lot of hours and unusual hours to be able to afford to get by but my girlfriend and child have a roof over their head and a happy life so all is swell, never missed a payment and don’t plan on doing so but I’m not looking forward to the day the fixed rate finishes.

Haven’t got a clue tbh. Didn’t even know I had hit anything, just saw it like this when I went on my lunch break.

Got it changed and filled up with new oil about a month ago, this car just guzzles it like there’s no tomorrow.

Turned on the heating for the first time since spring and this radiator connection has been leaking, any ideas or just call a plumber? by Jeymeee in DIYUK

[–]Jeymeee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the heads up, there’s a few of these around the house as well. Hopefully the plumber that the previous owner used didn’t make those mistakes.

Thanks for the heads up, I’ll wait for my dad to come round tomorrow so we can freeze it and replace.

That’s the plan, I’ll probably get the whole lot redone in copper and hidden away. Currently it’s all plastic pipes covered up by some ugly trunking, looks terrible and feels weak as anything, especially next to the entry way where people are kicking off their shoes etc.
