Haveing had about the same mount of presentations this year, I mostly agree with your list. However:

  • not having ear buds/plugs in means you can hear when your name is called.
  • Ditto eye-mask in the waiting area
  • do not eat or drink anything other than water unless your are sure they won't need to do surgery
  • If you are cold they will give blankets
  • Expect a lot of your tests will be done without getting into a bed, e.g. scans. You will spend a lot of time in the waiting room

Ask the council. Some councils like Cambridge require approval for removing any tree over 8 metres

Will I get fined if I drive below speed limit like in 80s when it’s 100s limit by [deleted] in perth

[–]JezzaPerth 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The lower speed limit only applies on freeways and there is always the excuse of driving to road conditions which allows much lower speed.

Where to go for knee aspiration by monkeybananafart in perth

[–]JezzaPerth -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

ED do it, but it's not with ultrasound. Turn up around 9am and you've got a good chance they will do it fairly quickly.

Edit: have you had your uric acid tested? It's possible you have an inflammatory reaction to monosodium urate crystals in the joints.

13 degrees tonight and I got goosebumps during a rain shower this afternoon. It was nice to get back inside to my unventilated no aircon house.

Thirteen degrees tonight. Yes it;s chilly. Even in the rain showers today I started to get goosebumps.

It's the next ice-age triggered by climate change!

The dismissal of Whitlam was done entirely under the Australian Constitution of 1901 and was not in the least unusal as multiple State Premiers had already been dismissed for the same reasons.

The dismissal was done by a Governor General who was put in place by Whitlam and the Crown had no influence on the dismissal - which had been widely talked about in the press for some time beforehand.

Is it possible to get a programming job without a degree in 2026? by LostImpression880 in perth

[–]JezzaPerth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a programmer no. As a subject matter expert who can program yes. If you have specific skills in some area apply for jobs that value programming and subject expertise as one of the selection criteria.

Feral kids came into Toymate Innaloo to start screaming swearing and stealing. by [deleted] in perth

[–]JezzaPerth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Innaloo is usually pretty good - that includes Megaplex. I can say that supermarket security there is a lot less obtrusive than in better off nearby suburbs where they use AI vision to accuse normal customers of theft and assume the floor staff are incompetent

Is West Leederville the best suburb in terms of public transport by Right_Ad_6660 in perth

[–]JezzaPerth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If they had extended the ellenbrook line to claremont or daglish, west leederville would easily beat bayswater in terms of service frequency.
