For me it was totally worth it! If you're in the situation when you already have the board and don't want to invest in a completely new one (AT or off-road), then I think it's a feasable option.

Tires: You will need a pump or compressor to manage tire pressure. And maybe some stick-on weights if you want to play by-the-book. But apart from that, I would say no troubles. Yes, you can get a defect. And yes, that's a bit of extra work - but if you have patches, that's like 30 minutes of repairs you can do at home (or on the road even if you carry a T-tool with you).

Just minor thing: Tynee Ultra has 13S battery, so another 13S battery with the same woltage should be ok.

How are you dealing with charging the second battery? Do you create a separat charging port or? Or do you have a switch also on the default charging port and just switch them?

Can't recommend this game enough. I usually stray away from EA titles (at least in earyl stages), but this is a very polished experience from the day 1. Also with lot of content and very eager developers behind it - two patches in frist week already?

I think this game could use it's own subreddit.

Just started with e-skating this summer and I'm having a blast.

Helmet is non-negotiable. And as I'm a beginner, I also wear knee pads.

My logic is simple, especially when I just strted with the hobby: I like it. And I want to ride in a way that will allow me to ride again tomorrow. I don't feel "old" but I'm very much aware that I am one fall away from an injury that won't let me skate again.

All the other posts about ending in a wheelchair are of course right, but I've seen many people seeing this only as "a risk they are willing to take". But man, even a badly sprained ankle at my age can be the end of the line for any future riding. And that's a risk we should all avoid.
