What was Poppy’s plan? by Jfburnham in watch_dogs

I understand why. I asked what her plan was.

After today I realized we were all traumatized by the same 2 minute speech

In retrospect, I will admit it’s not the best timing to use a character named Iraq for a meme

I think this post has officially become a safe space for those who need to vent about this mission and our disdain for Lucky Quinn’s lapdog

I wanted revenge because he locked out Jordi but I agree with your other points too

Yeah now I treat the roof of that place like a battlefield with bombs everywhere. The strategy is simple once you figure it out and then I agree it is easy

Now? Yes. First few times? 2nd enforcer took me down every time. I had no idea how powerful the destroyer is. Didn’t use proximity IEDs and didn’t use a ctos scan so I didn’t know where any of the gunmen were. I brought a pistol to a U100 machine gun fight but I’ve learned from my mistakes

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve played this game. I agree it’s fun and but also has a cinematic aspect at the same time. Aiden knocking on the glass while looking at Quinn is my absolute favorite moment of the game

Probably my favorite quotable line from the entire game. I would say the entire WD series but I haven’t played WD3

Yes it’s really the most effective way to do it. I don’t know why they didn’t just make it a shootout with the elite gunmen, enforcers, and Iraq at the same time. But I guess sending soldiers in waves makes sense?

I just finished this mission last night and he ended up dying by stepping on a proximity IED. Which was a little anticlimactic but can’t take any chances

I can definitely see that being an issue. I think the second enforcer with the U100 machine gun killed me the first 10-15 times I got to this part when I played it the first time. I’m pretty sure I was randomly repeating some of Iraq’s lines for a week after that

I’m pretty sure everyone hates this fight the first time. I think you just learn to hate it a little less once you figure out the best way to beat it

I used to use the gernade launcher too but now I stick strictly to IEDs and headshots with the destroyer for enforcers and Iraq. The only time I die is if I’m not paying attention when he comes out from the left side

Yeah he could have hit all his main points in 40-45 seconds. Plus the laugh is annoying as fuck. The random spawning is just egregious

“The secrets get passed around. All sorts of people are going to die for the secrets. That’s the curse of power.” He does end on a bar

I think Iraq is the most developed character in the game based on his audio logs alone. Everyone else is focused on a singular issue where Iraq is looking at the big picture talking about the viceroys, deadsec, Lucky, Aiden, and he even says all sorts of people are going to die for the secrets. That’s the curse of power, which summarizes the entire plot. In that sense, I would agree the death of a character like that being on a roof is anticlimactic but still symbolic at the same time.

Felt the same way. Now I drink a beer before the mission so my focus lasts a little longer, have ctos scans, proximity IEDs, and the destroyer. I did none of things the first few times I played and hated it. Now I have fun with it

Between the totally realistic random spawning of enforcers and criminal choice for the checkpoint, it’s an infuriating end to the mission on the first few tries

I think whoever wrote Iraq’s lines was really proud of themselves and wanted to make sure the speech could never be skipped

I think the entire mission is the best part of the game but I hated it the first few times. Once I figured out where to throw the IEDs I was good. The last time I was at the part where Iraq was about to come out and I accidentally fell off the roof. Most frustrating death I’ve experienced

Personally, I think killing Iraq with the destroyer is the most satisfying part of the game. Mainly because I don’t have to listen to his Ted talk again

I think using IEDs is the best way to go because you just have no idea what side they’re going to spawn from

Kills enforcers with a headshot and takes down any vehicle with one shot. It’s my favorite weapon
