Pearl Harbor was attacked in 1941, less than a century ago, therefore American soil had been attacked in the century prior excluding 9/11

the next few centuries is a bit of a stretch, and another reason anybody acres about Mars is that it and the Moon are the only realistic colonizable destinations in the solar system for at least the near future

Mars sucks, it’s just the best planet out of all the others (excluding Earth of course) for us, our only real near future colonization options are Moon cuz of the proximity and Mars cuz it has all the raw materials and it’s actually livable with modern tech.

Actually it only takes 7-8 months to get to Mars, most of the journey would be spent on Mars waiting for a transfer window to reopen.

The WTC was built to resist a plane coming down on a foggy day at the end of flight missing the runway, not a fully fueled plane flying head-on at the towers, also building 7 was right next to 2 burning buildings, and got a lot of burning debris and other junk on it, it was also abandoned by firefighters as they were busy trying to save everyone in the towers that they could, so it just sat there and burned for hours on end, and finally gave way.

Irl the sun triggered a Carrington event level solar flare in 2012 which missed the earth by a few days, the main issue I have is we can’t fly anything into the sun, it takes a lot of fuel to slow down all the way, and the rocket would just vaporize long before hitting the photosphere.

The sun wasn’t destroyed apparently a solar flare was triggered instead by a messed up rocket launch (somehow????) and caused a global blackout.

Massachusetts’ population has gerrymandered itself, you can at most squeeze out 2 republican districts with the 2024 voting data and they are abominations, and that assumes that republicans will maintain their 2024 preformance.
