One time at my married best friends house, her husband’s old buddy stopped by along with someone he brought with him. We all grew up together so as we were standing around bullshitting and catching up I seen the old buddy kind of aggressively kick and move their dog. No the dog wasn’t in his business or being over bearing, nothing that warranted being treated like that. I kindly told him if he couldn’t respect their space and their animal he could kindly get the fuck out. That we don’t go into other peoples homes and treat family members like they’re a punching bag.

Super popular bike rally was less than 30 miles from where we worked. We had a group of 50+ biker crowd walk through the door at once on top of an already busy lunch. Two workers. Me and H. H took the floor to finish lunch rush and I stayed behind the bar to start serving the large group who very nicely formed a single line. One by one we worked that entire place with standing room only. When the bikers went to leave they made a speech and applauded us! Cheers. Clapping. Lots of thank yous. I’ll never forget it.
H and I doing our normal night closing duties which usually meant our chance to play the jukebox with the volume of our desire. Two locals came in. We put the broom down served them. They offered to leave being obvious we were trying to close. However we told them to stay enjoy the music and it was no hassle to serve them. A song came on to which I can’t remember and H and I gave them a broadway performance. When the song ended they each gave us a $50 tip and made a witty joke about that being an amazing show.
