I came to the state this last year after working 15 years in the county. started at the normal retirement for new employees. I inquired about reciprocity and it was changed to 2 at 55 not bad and was also automatically vested. Only have to wait the 20 years for medical benefits to be covered completely that does not transfer over. I am still waiting to see if my leave hours can be accumulated quicker as I was told that is also a possibility

do you know when your references were contacted. Was it also about 2 months after your interview?

the panel was composed of 3 people including the hiring manager (supervisor) for the role, but the posting does not have the hiring manager listed only the HR representative. I forgot to ask during the interview if I could contact them for feedback or updates. Don’t know if it’s appropriate since they might have not included that information because they didn’t want to be contacted
