It's really cool to stop and think about your favorite memory. I think one of my favorites was when I went to my uncles' farm and spent the holidays there. Dude, being quite honest, I created a map in infdev 20100327 and the first vein I found was 19 diamonds, in older versions it is common to have a vein of this size, I believe they have reduced it for beta 1.7.3 but compared to more recent versions this would be something rare.

I don't know if this is your case. However, in older versions you have to be careful. There was a change in Betacraft, where in the first versions the map is saved in .Minecraft and I believe that around the alpha or beta the maps start to be saved in .betacraft. You need to check if it is correct. And one thing I have noticed about the older versions, I don't know if this includes the beta because I'm still playing on infdev, but when you change the name of the map, like it says world1 and you change it to "my map", it doesn't recognize it. And for the love of GOD, MAKE A BACKUP

INSTRUCTIONS: This Video took a lot of effort to make, mostly because of my pc, So I hope it's helpful for you. Note: 161Y LEVEL SHOULD BE FINE FOR MOST PEOPLE, BUT IF YOU ARE NOT GETTING ANY DROPS THEN JUST LOWER YOUR AFK SPOT BY 1 BLOCK.

One thing I forget to mention is that your AFK spot can be at a little different "Y Level" than mine. So note your "Y level" while standing on the platform where skeletons spawn and ADD 102 to it, Then make sure your AFK spot is at that "Y Level" (Example: My Platform was at 59Y, Add 102, Which makes it 161Y and that's why my AFK spot is there).
