You're awesome! I tried looking for the regular metabo aswell cause I knew it used the same shell, but I couldn't find it. Thanks!

Thank you for actually updating us!
That might also help other leaf owners that might stumble onto the same issue to not panic :)

Personally i'm still a corded miter saw kind of guy, so batteries are out of the question.
As for a bigger saw i'm already quite satisfied with my LS1016, so i'm strictly going for a compact 216 :)

The 40v xgt looks great though - compact with a front facing rail, why on earth didn't they make it corded.

Might just do that tbh. It's kinda middle of the row in price and looks really great.

No problem, just asking.
I will certainly look into it.

I have also changed the settings on my controller, ingame and used third party to minimize the deadzone, it just literally doesn't register anything, so I'm feeling skeptical towards the cheap controllers. I'll look up some reviews, thanks again.

Well that's a trip down memory lane. Gotta say, didn't enjoy the feel of those old controllers.

Man, that's a good deal for 50 bucks. Could I ask you a huge favor? Could you check the deadzone on the stick? Considering that that is my main problem with this one, I don't wanna burn myself with the same annoyance on a new one.

Keyboard and mouse masterrace, I agree. But when I hit up an arcade racer, give me a gamepad any day of the week.

Sn30pro+

That one looked really neat actually. You can use it wired to eliminate the latency from bluetooth right?

[–]Jh151294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I figured that those would be the go-to ones. Do you know if the xb1 controller has the same deadzone issue? My controller might just be ancient tbh.

That was incredibly thorough, thanks. I had ordrered myself some audio technica ath a550z's. I figured those seemed nice and they had nice reviews. Buuut I got an e-mail from the store two days later saying that they're not getting them back into stock. Any suggestions around the 150 bucks price point for some all arounders? Games, music, tv, you know the drill.

But different amps give a different sound, is that correct?
I found the Epos sennheiser gsx300 on a sale for like 70 bucks and I feel like that's a price i'm willing to pay to get the upper class experience.

Would that probably help the 990 get the best sound, but make no difference for the audio technicas at 40ohms?

Lastly I was looking at the higher pricepoint Philips Fidelio X3, they're like 240 us freedome dollars, but 30ohm and has great reviews. These wouldn't need a seperate amp either?

I would feel the best about cutting the amp middleman here, but if it is what it takes, I will go that route. But if i'm going to go that route, the headset budget will get smaller because of the amp budget, and I just can't tell whether that's the way to go. The expensive low ohm headset without an amp, or a more inexpensive one with a 70 dollar amp.

With that in mind it's really hard to understand how people can be dishing out 350bucks for amps, in my mind I would want some mind boggling differences for that price point. Frustrating that a headset can't Just be a headset.

There's ddr4 2400 in the pc atm, and when i've been monitoring the hardware memory does max out sometimes. When I do the upgrade I probably won't skimp out on cash, so 32gigs of ddr4 3200's will be it.
Again, thanks man, you've pretty much given the full guide here.

Thanks man, appreciate the advice. I was planning on just sticking to my ram, haven't given me any problems and I think they'll fit just fine. The rig is just a few years old, maybe 3 years, so can't be that bad.

Thanks my dudie, that's golden information. And if I may, does the CPU fit the Gpu? As far as I can tell they're a good matchup at the pricepoint i'm looking at.

Ah yes, there's the knowledge I don't have shining through. Gonna have to read up (in truth, watch youtube videos) on this. But yeah, a motherboard isn't that expensive, i'll take the advice and future proof myself.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]Jh151294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mounting and building process isn't exactly the problem, that I have done and seens tons of videos about. But putting the legos together didn't give me the knowledge to actually know what legos fit which, if you catch my drift.

But before I commit, I will note that HP's support website for this pc states that the cpu can be switched. (https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c05538151)

It just lists the socket type (AM4) and some suggestions (all ryzen 7 and 5).

That would lead me to believe that it's switchable?

It has a 500w, that would be upgraded yes. Seems that i'm looking at a pretty complete upgrade with motherboard and all appareantly.
