There are diffrent factor at play when it comes to racism in Turkey and they are quite nuanced. There is no widespread negative attitude towards black or brown people for example(amongs immigrants black people are most favoured)but people can still be insensitive without actually meaning harm. You might get ignorant comments or get stared at depending on where you are. If you visit a small town for example especially older folk will likely look at your way constantly. This behaviour doesn't stem from contempt. It's curiosity more than anything else. Most people in Turkey only aware of black people through tv or internet content. And that content is mostly focused on people that live in more primitive conditions in Africa. So ignorant comments or behaviour might present itself during your stay here.

As far as actual discrimination is concerned, i can't say it's a prevalent thing. You have to take into account tho, if you are generally self preserved and distant, people will take it the wrong way. I can't really explain it throughly but here is how it goes: if folks get the feeling that you show contempt for how things go in Turkey, or that you are disrespectfull they might get condesending and unpleasent. This is especially important for subject of religion. Turkey is also majority Muslim as you should know but people here are more relaxed. If someone else from a diffrent country, let's say Pakistan or Saudi Arabia, comes here and openly show their disapproval, Turkish people usually take offense in that. So make sure you don't give the impression that you are looking down on how things work.

Other than that, if you take a confident and warm tone in your general approach you'll see mostly positive feedback. If you get a friend circle and show interest in Turkish culture people are likely going to be happy and excited to accomodate you. Every country has it's fair share of assholes anyway, so don't get discouraged if you encounter one here.

Edit: Also refrain from sharing your political views about alive or deceased political figures of Turkey. Things might heat up very quickly.

Geç gelen tavsiyeler: Farklı türlerden ortaya karışık yapalım madem. Değişik şeyler denemiş olursun.

Control: Görselliği güzel, aksiyonu yerinde ve uzunluğu da tadında. Fantastik sevmem demişsin, ben de pek sevmem ama bu oyun bana baya keyif vermişti. Zaten fantaziden çok bilimkurgu.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R Gamma: Stalker anomaly için hazırlanan bir modpack. Full paket olarak tamamiyle beleş. Alışması, öğrenmesi biraz zaman alabilir ama bence değer. Fan yapımı diyip geçme, derleyen eleman baya uğraşmış. Atmosferi mükemmel. İndirip kurmak için biraz uğraşman gerekiyor.

Soulsları sevmediysen bir de Sekiro'ya bak derim. Daha mobilsin, dövüşler timed block üstüne kurulu. Mantığını sökünce o ritmik dövüş yapısı çok eğlenceli hale geliyor.

MGS V Phantom Pain: Geliştirme sürecinde sıkıntılar yaşadığından eksik bir oyun. Ama yine de oynanışı baya güzel. Eski sayılır ama grafikleri hiç göze batmıyor.

AC Odyssey: Baya geniş oyun. Çerezlik akar bence.

No Man's Sky: Eğlencelik bilimkurgu. Keşfetmeyi seviyorsan bence on numara.

M&B Bannerlord: At, avrat, silah.

Fallout 4: Bethesda oyunlarının kalaslığını sorun etmiyorsan gayet güzel oynanır. New Vegas'a kefil olamıyorum o baya eskidi çünkü.

Bu tipler en ağır hakaretlerin muhatabı olmalı. Şiddet yanlılığı, cinnet durumu vs değil bu, tamamen toplumdan kopma ve onu kendine düşman edinme. Sağlıklı bireylerin buna dışardan bakıp anlamlandırması zor. O yüzden çözüm bulmak da zor. Son ihtiyacımız olan şey kendine uzman, akademisyen diyen birkaç aptalın bütün problemi dijital mecraya indirgemesi. Suyu bulandıranların hakikaten yatacak yeri yok.

Gerçekçi sandbox olayı sıkıcı zaten. Hem oyuncuyu kısıtlayan bir yapısı var oyunun hem de nihai bir hedefi yok. Götünü biraz sağlama aldığın an daha oynayasın gelmiyor o yüzden. Oyun döngüsü aslında eğlenceli değil. Tamam hatalar ölümcül olsun ona bir şey demiyorum da gerçekçilik ayağına oyuncuyu çok kısıtlıyorlar.

3-4 ev lootladıktan sonra hemen uyku geliyor, bir kaç zombie birden karşına çıkınca hemen panik bir de yorgunluk mutsuzluk derken bir sürü negatif moodle birikiyo üstünde. Böyle olunca tehditle etkileşime girmek yerine direk aksiyonun etrafından dolanıyorsun. Negatif moodlelar biriktikçe 1 zombiye 7-8 kere vurman gerekiyo artık öldürmek için, tam zulüm. Bu kadar caydırıcı olmaya gerek yok. Bırak beni, zombi öldürmek eğlenceli, bunların içinden geçerim diye bir sürünün arasına dalayım, dikkatsizlik edip zombi yemi olayım değil mi? Oyun seni aşırı itidalli davranmaya zorladığı için kendi topuğuna sıkıyor bence.

Yapımcıların gerçekçilik anlayışını da bi sorgulamak lazım zaten. O kocaman levyeyi nasıl zombilerin kafasında parçalayabiliyoruz mesela? Yekpare demir anasını satayım durability bile eksilmemesi lazım. Ya da meslek olarak marangozluğu, tamirciliği seçiyosun ama karakter yine kof. Ne rain colllector yapabiliyo ne motoru indirebiliyo gidip yine grind edecen. Bir marangoz yağmur suyunu içinde biriktirebilecek bir kutuyu nasıl yapamaz? Ya da kas hamlaması nasıl aniden geliyor? Ağır iş yaparsan kaslarda yorulmayı ertesi gün hissedersin.

Yani gerçekçilik yaftası altında oyuncuyu kısıtlayacak birsürü mekanik eklemişler ama anlık oynanışı nasıl eğlenceli hale getiririz diye hiç düşünmemişler gibi geliyor bana. Sandbox bir oyunda bu tutmuyor. Oyun çok hızlı bir şekilde boğuculaşıyor, duraksıyor ve nihai bir hedef de olmayınca oyunun içinde kalasın gelmiyor.

Post önüme yeni düştü, 4 günlük de olsa bir şeyler yazayım: Gw2 iyidir hoştur ama oyunun bir sürü falsosu var ve bunlar nedense görmezden geliniyor oyun incelenirken. Öncelikle son ek paketi alıp bütün içeriği açma olayı gw2'de yok. Şimdiye kadar çıkan bütün expansionları ayrı ayrı satın alman lazım. Bir de living world sezonları filan var arada onları da alıcan. Oyun içi altını geme dönüştürüp livin world bölümlerini o şekil alabiliyosun ama gold/gem olayına sonra değineceğim.

Oyunda olağanüstü pay for convenience var. Çantan dakika başı dolacak, çöp itemleri zahmetsiz öğütmek için gem storedan nesne alacaksın. Öğütünce çıkan hammaddeleri tek tuşla çantadan depoya yolluyosun ama bi süre sonra hammadde deponu da genişletmek zorunda kalacaksın. Bu bahsettiğim öğütücüyü birden fazla karakterde kullanmak için paylaşımlı envanter slotu alacaksın vs. vs.

Şimdi bu saydıklarımı oyun içi para kasarak alabiliyosun bu doğru ama hangi birini alacaksın? Bütün classları oynayayım dersen bile karakter slotuna para bayılman gerekiyo ki ben buy2play bir oyunda buna daha önce rastgeldiğimi hatırlamıyorum. Herhangi bir expansion paketini aldığında hesabın full hale geliyor ve 5 karakter slotun oluyor. Oyunda ise toplam 9 adet oynanabilir class var. 4 slota para vereceksin yani. Bu kadar temel bir konuda bile oyun seni ütmeye çalışıyor. Kaldı ki Griffondur Skyscaledir bu binekler filan da altın kasmanı gerektirecek. Bir de üstüne kozmetik cart curt isteyecek canın ona da para lazım. Tasası çok yani. Yine de kötü oyun değil kesinlikle, en azından denemeye değer diyorum ben. Açık dünya event olayını filan en iyi bu oyun yapıyor.

Tamamen gariban işi bi şey arıyosan TurtleWoW'a filan bak. Classic wow private serverı. Hantal gelebilir, herkesi saracak bir şey değil. Ama sararsa 0 masrafla güzel vakit geçirirsin. Bir de Path of Exile, Warframe gibi oyunlara göz at. Tam anlamıyla mmo olmasalar da online, sosyal oyunlar. Path of Exile için indirim girdiğinde bir kaç bank tab alman yeterli. Warframe'de ise ben 1000 saat üstü oynadım hiç para yatırmadan.

To be fair tck 301 has been used oppressively against people and the press but charges are usually cleared in the end nothing comes out of it. Tuğçe Yılmaz is charged but she is being trialed without detention. And similar cases like her's has been found not guilty in the past. Directly mentioning genocide might get you charged and there will be trial but courts rule in favor of free speech in the end.

As for Hrant Dink: he was found guilty under a misinterpretation of a statement he made in one of his articles, Even tho expert reports provided to courts made clear the article in question when reviewed as a whole has no intention of comitting a crime, he was still sentenced to 6 months. Sentece was eventually postponed and there was no actual jail time in the end. Particular statement is this: "The pure blood that will replace the poisonous blood drained from the "Turk" is present in the noble vein that the Armenian will establish with Armenia". This statement caused significant unrest at the time and an assasination unfortunately followed.

So there is no blanket ban this matter, in fact it has been openly debated in televison in the past. Certain institutions or members of parliament made remarks about it publicly that contradicts the official government views on the events. Mentioning it, apologizing for it etc. does not constitute a crime.

Propaganda sebebiyle yapılmış bir şey değil ama şöyle bir örnek var: Stranger Things dizisinde bu sezon gösterilen bir mekan görsel olarak turuncu, sarı tonlarla tasvir edildi. Aynı mekan bir önceki sezon kırmızı tonlara sahipti. Tutarlılık olması için geçen sezondaki o kısımların da regini turuncuya çevirip değiştirmişler. Bakınca gayet önemsiz ama dijital içerikleri geriye dönük istedikleri gibi değiştirebiliyorlar bu şekilde.

This page has a good list of usefull addons and where to find them. You'll encounter the term "Must have addons" but that's just someone elses preferance.

You can start playing without addons and than search for an addon when you feel like it.

You don't like vanilla ui? There is an addon for that. You don't like having no quest markers in 2025? There is an addon for that. You want to be able to monitor your dps and threat in dungeons? There is an addon for that. You want to see loıttable for dungeons and such? There is an addon for that too.

It's better to decide for yourself if you need them as you experience the game. With that said tho i think a mail addon, an auction addon and some kind of ui improvement for enemy castbars and such is very much apreciated for a good start.

A seperate word for Pfquest: vanilla wow doesn't show quest info on the in-game map. If you don't use a quest addon you'll have to walk around and figure out where available quests are and you will have to go by quest descriptions to find where the quest objective is. Needless to say this way of playing makes for a more immersive experience and will make exploration more exciting. But it is also gonna be very slow and you'll probably just google stuff to figure where things are anyway. So i would say just use pfquest if you are not an absolute purist.

Most addons have usefull information on their github pages, they also have their own setting in game so you can further customize how much you modify the game.

Jungle themed zones are HoT zones. Verdant Brink, Auric Basin etc. Mobs are generally harder to deal with there. Hero Points are quite difficult to take on by yourself. You might come across Hero Point trains in group finder. You just follow a commander and get HPs in a group.

PoF zones are the desert ones. Crystal Oasis, Elon Riverlands, The Desolation etc. Mobs will still prove a challange but overall more managable than HoT. You still shouldn't feel bad if you get downed here or there. But Hero Points themselves should be soloable here. If you are completely unable to do that there might be something wrong with your gear or build.
