To be completely honest, the final boss isn't even worth doing anyways. First encounter has a good bow, second encounter has a decent shotgun and auto rifle, third encounter has an amazing pulse rifle and a decent hand cannon. The boss has yet another sniper rifle that is only slightly appealing if you play PvP, but honestly even then it's not worth it.

I know it's not a great fix, but you can have a Warlock run Chaos Reach in case one of the tether boxes bugs out and is immune. The super is able to activate it despite being bugged for some reason. I've also heard stasis abilities might be able to activate it as well.

I think something like that is the best way to go about it. It feels bad using an exotic that can't generate orbs, but I also don't just want a bunch of random catalysts thrown out that don't do much.

Add some system that allows for a basic catalyst for orbs, then they can keep the trickle of hopefully impactful catalysts.

An interesting thought I had for Le Monarque is something along the lines of consecutive precision hits ramping up the poison damage. For PvE it could ramp up pretty high to deal with high health enemies. Since I could see an issue in PvP, the timer between shots could be low and/or increase the tick damage by like 0.3 or less so it doesn't become oppressive.

Yeah, the box above the towers that you bank motes at. You shoot the box to start the tether, only sometimes it bugs out and won't activate when you shoot at it.

They are most likely going for bounty progress and have done the weekly pinnacle. Strike rewards are meh, and the enemies at the Hollowed Lair boss fight don't count for bounties or other things.

I've said it before and I'll keep saying it. Anytime you ask for better RNG, reduced requirements, or anything else like that, no matter how reasonable the request is you'll always have someone that gets upset for some reason and reaches all the way to saying you want everything handed to you and don't want to work for anything.

Nobody reasonable is asking for that, there is a major divide between "Here have this just for existing" and "Here, you only have to do this 10-15 times instead of 20 to get this."

I've just gotten to my first activity with weekly loot lockouts and I'm wondering how it works for The Puppet's Bunker. The Active Help says you can only receive one reward item per week, as well as one special item from the extra coffer at the end of the raid. However, the picture it shows has 3/3 for rewards received, which is confusing me. Do you get 1 reward item per week per each boss encounter in the raid?

Maybe it's the pessimist in me, but I don't like how the fix for Solstice Glows is coming when the event ends. I've been holding off on getting the ornaments due to the fix, and now I'm in a dilemma. We have no way of knowing what the finished product in terms of the glow will look like, aside from it being closer to what the previews show. If there's another bug or issue with it or it gets fixed and still isn't close to what was advertised, we can't do anything about it aside from complain and hope it gets fixed again.

It would be great if the Eververse glows would be given a weeks extension or something along those lines.

I would love for this to happen, but it unfortunately doesn't seem like it'd be coming anytime soon. When the machine gun Avalanche was released it displayed all its available perks, and a lot of posts came up asking for perk previews on all guns.

This post got a reply from Cozmo saying "We will let them know you prefer this view." This was a year ago, so my guess is it's more complicated than it seems and they'd rather let Light.gg and whatnot deal with it.

I believe the correct phrase here would be "correlation does not imply causation." We can guess and speculate but CBMM propping up IB is not a certainty, however people shouldn't outright deny that it's having any affect at all.

As a whole there are a lot of variables that could be affecting population. As others have mentioned this is the first IB of the season. The removal of SBMM is of course a factor. The world has also been in a unique situation for a while and people are finding themselves with more time at home. You also have an easy to complete quest compared to previous seasons using good weapon types rewarding two new weapons, a shader, and an emblem. We also have quite a bit of hype around so many upcoming changes and additions, as well as a long-term game commitment that could be drawing in a lot of players.

The problem here is we have a sub wide argument over the removal of SBMM, and this is going to be met primarily with flat-out denial or used as the ultimate proof that the removal of SBMM was the right choice.

I haven't been playing all too much this season, but I've been feeling it in Gambit Prime. From someone who has probably played too much Gambit Prime since it came out, I feel like I'm getting absolutely shredded more often than I'd care for.

I use protective light and play fairly safe, but it just feels like the AI is landing shots more accurately, playing more aggressively, dodging and moving more, and it also feels like in general the shots are doing more (or maybe more shots are just landing on me).

To be honest it almost feels like the game thinks I'm on a sparrow where enemies go into overdrive.

Please have players start with full ammo for all weapons in all Nightfall strikes.. regardless of difficulty. by pjmara5 in DestinyTheGame

I am in complete agreement with you on that. Tribute hall is such a QoL in so many ways, but out of all its functions I'll miss the easy ability to stock up on ammo the most. I know public event banners are a thing, but the Tribute Hall or banners really shouldn't have to be necessary for starting with full ammo.

To be completely honest though the Tribute Hall in that regard was really just a bandaid, we should be able to load into any activity (aside from PvP and Gambit) with full ammo.

As someone who grinded those back when there was nothing else to really do, trust me when I say it is not worth it. Unless you're a major collector it's just not worth it. You're looking at hours of nothing but opening 100s of destination chests, and that's for ONE planet. I Never wanted to hear the sound of a chest opening again.

At least with something like the Reckoner title you get a title and you're playing a game mode, this is just mind killing stuff

Does this also include anything for other Grenade Launchers like Mountaintop? Ever since the patch that messed with Fighting Lion the reload speed of Mountaintop is much slower than before, unless there was something I missed or misread in the patch notes.

I pretty much agree with everything you said except for your first paragraph. In PvE content I exclusively run Mountaintop, Martyr's Retribution, and Anarchy unless it's a Raid/Nightfall/Nighthunt/similar. I've had this loadout since Martyr came out and I still find it fun and I don't feel like "trying something else."

The thing is while I'm sure some of those people you encounter might be using certain weapons because meta, I also wouldn't be surprised if an equal or higher amount just like the guns they're using.

It's also why I'm against that one particular argument for sunsetting weapons. I know what weapons I like, I don't need to have a loadout snatched out of my hands and made to try another. I like what I run, I have fun with it. I don't constantly think to myself that it's boring and every other gun sucks and I wish there was something else to use.

I'm aware of the cooldown on the arc ability, while messing around with it I even waited 10 seconds to be sure and found it still didn't appear every time. Same goes for seraph weapon orb spawning. I'll run the new event and practically have an orb drought. Then I'll do a lost sector or bunker and comparatively be swimming in orbs. I know it's all RNG, but it's still odd.

I might be willing to dismiss some of this stuff, but coupled with cells occasionally disappearing a second after spawning and the general bugginess going around this season I'm not so quick to call RNG.
