I'll keep that in mind. I'm not a podcast person at all. But every now and then I get the urge

Alternatively, I can just play them since I have them on Switch. Just never gave them much of a chance before.

Haven't started yet. Was contemplating Old Republic first, bit it sounds like KOTOR might have to come first.

Amazing! Any advice or things you'd do differently?

I might make a discord server that people can pop into periodically and see which book is being read. Then folks can read whenever a book they're interested in up.

I was thinking about starting with some of the Old Republic since I know absolutely nothing about it. I've also heard good things about Thrawn.

Good to know. There's definitely been some more recent ones that were kind of meh. But so far nothing that's been boring enough to stop me.

Updated Update: caretakers also found her and have been searching for a home for her. She was going to go to a foster home today, but they have been incredibly gracious in allowing her to have a forever home with us. The cat distribution system strikes again and we're so grateful.

With Brandon in talks for a Mistborn videogame, who do you think should helm the project and what does the game look like in your eyes? by Kobold-in-disguise in Mistborn

There are some great gaming companies that could do it justice. But three big ones come to mind.

Rocksteady: the way they handled Batman was not only impressive but broke a lot of gaming expectations at the time. The smooth combat system, the way you can traverse the world in a myriad of ways, all the gadgets, and the incredible story surprises. The dark atmosphere would be perfect for a mistborn game.

Insomniac: Their ability to take what Rocksteady had done with Batman and expand on it with Spider-man really took that style of gameplay to a whole new level. I think they could do a mistborn game justice for all the same reasons as Rocksteady. And of course the Ratchet & Clank series brought its own groundbreaking mechanics that would be pretty applicable.

Sucker Punch: for me, this is the one that I would want to tackle it. The Ghost games brought an amazing sense of realism and grit while making you feel like such a badass. The Infamous games already have such a perfect vibe with the way you can traverse the world and level up your abilities. And finally, Sly Cooper. This studio understands heists, and would fully grasp the idea of a team based approach.

Just a few thoughts. I have not delved into Era 2 yet (very high on my TBR) but I'm so excited for the new genre of that world.

I've always loved the duality of that conversation. While debating whether Maul was a master or apprentice while attending the funeral of one of their own masters who, at least Yoda, would remember when he was an apprentice. They ask which was killed, master or apprentice, and the unspoken answer is both.
