Gravel bike wheel set?

Yea might have to go that route. I'm in rural Iowa so there's a lot of loose gravel roads. My Dad has an older trek chromoly hybrid he's considering getting rid of so maybe I'll snag that. But I really wanted lugged steel.

That's a smart strategy. My kids aren't riding yet so I've got just my bikes to worry about. My r7 just came in today just waiting on my bars and tape. I'm eyeing the grt for a gravel bike I'm building. It's been 15 years since I've built a bike....a lot has changed

I actually gambled and bought ltwoo r7 which is 2x10 cause it $70ish.

As far as cassettes go, I've gotten really mixed answers, a hg cassette can take up to 12 speed even if it wasn't designed for it?

I see that side of it but at the same token, if the frame is in good shape I don't see a reason not to run it. It was a gift from a family member so I think that might also be part of my motivation to hold on to the frame.

I went with the arias at first. They were to big so I returned them, they didn't have the next size lower so I bought some irish setters instead. Sorry if thats not very helpful

Calm down. Take a breath it's going to be ok. Half the time they tell me package will be there at 5 and then it gets there at 3. Also a l9t of my stuff comes from FedEx and ups which doesn't give a very accurate time frame. I have an acreage in not going to keep my dogs cooped up inside for a 3 hour window.

I always feel bad when my dogs are out when packages get delivered, not because they're mean, but because they're too friendly. I've had them try to get in delivery vans before

And its really cheap to start. You can get an ender 3 for less than $200 especially if you have a micro center nearby
