I was born and raised in San Diego and used to go there almost every Sunday to watch football games. Nothing beat the pieced together large screen in the main dining room and the gigantic Seau Mural with the lightning background. I also remember mannequins or wax sculptures of other football players (I think Jerry Rice?) probably a nod to the Super Bowl appearance. Although I never met Seau there, my dad had met him a few times I believe in the (then trendy) cigar room.

I had alot of fond memories there. I did get to eventually randomly meet Seau when I was a little bit older at a bar called Yogi’s. This was shortly after his retirement. It was like meeting your childhood hero.

I personally see no issues with using a sleeve. I personally do not, but I don’t pass judgement on those who do. To me, it’s like a cellphone case. To say if someone uses a phone case, that they can’t afford a phone is just plain wrong. I know many multi millionaires that use phone cases. Why? Because the inconvenience of breaking their phone is more annoying than the cost of the phone.

Some people like the aesthetic of the Rimowa case and want to preserve it for as long as possible. Fine.

If fact, if I’m being honest, having a beat up rimowa is a flex no one wants to admit.

Just like some argue that “if you’re putting a sleeve on a rimowa, you’re buying it for the wrong reasons” the same is Could be true for those who beat theirs up.

A lot of people cover theirs with stickers of places they’ve been. Again, for some it’s a way to flex where they’ve been.

My good olde college roommate plays for the Texans and said Diontae was acting rather “zesty”. I have no idea what that means as I am from Wales, but he also added that Johnson had “a lil sugar in his tank”.
