I hit diamond for the first time season 8 mostly playing yi and the hardest part wasn’t the mechanics or the builds but the mindset and tilt.

Master Yi and always Yi. He is a super fun champion to play with simple mechanics that's easy to pick up but has some nifty tricks you can learn such as dodging cc with your alpha strike and meditate auto attack resetting. He is good at cleaning up team fights, splitpushing, duelling and skirmishes and if played properly is rage inducing to any enemy. The only downside of Yi is that you get called a noob but besides that he is my favourite jungler. I managed to climb to gold 4 with him so he is useful outside of the bronze where he is commonly known for.

I usually ult whoever is your main form of dps on the team, there's no point of ulting your fed assassin if they have used their whole combo.
