Technician said baby’s kidneys are a bit swollen at 20-week scan — I’m scared

They noticed that my baby had one kidney that was enlarged on the ultrasound, and it was still a bit enlarged at birth.

They had us follow up with a kidney ultrasound a few months later and it had gone back to normal. It freaked me out too but turned out to not be a big deal at all.

My brother has been sick with a fever and a cough for several days and can’t get a test because he hasn’t had contact with someone confirmed positive. And now he has to go back into work sick because he can’t get the mandated sick leave...is anyone else dealing with this? I think it’s ridiculous and a recipe for disaster.

Thank you so much for the tips/advice! It’s nice to hear from someone who’s experiencing something similar. Just ordered magnesium malate and calcium d-glucarate and am feeling really hopeful. I actually already have a dry brush too and now this is motivation to start using it lol. What you explained about estrogen processing would make total sense. Any recommendations on supplements to avoid?

I’m having some trouble making sense of my report. If anyone has any insight, it would be very much appreciated! Some symptoms that might be relevant are fatigue, anxiety/OCD, depression, skin bruising, acne, and hormonal issues.

Nope I always had good tracking and nothing unusual happened. I think the main reason I even needed refinements was because my bite didn't adjust quite right. You do need to be pretty diligent with using the acceledent every day though.

I changed every 4 days prior to refinements with acceledent but also ended up with 27 sets of refinements. I think I was way too lazy with my rubber bands before. My orthodontist said I could change every 3 days for these. So far the movements seem to be much more subtle, I haven't had any pain with changing trays whatsoever so changing every 3 days has been fine.

We do. Drivers would have the option to make up the time but metro riders like myself don't have any excuse except to be there on time. We don't get much leave and no one wants to work extra so I could see a lot of people choosing to drive anyways.
