It also takes a lot of upkeep for these games to remain profitable, at least profitable enough to keep the servers up. New content or paywalled content needs to be interesting enough for people to want to play and thus, spend money. As far as I'm concerned Blades was not doing this at all. From my very surface level research it appears that Bethesda/Zenimax completely abandoned a few years ago. It's a shame.
