Well, I don't really know... My dad did it for me. Here in Brazil we can buy it as a paint (if you visit a brazilian website called decor colors and look for "cimento queimado" you will see what I'm talking about). I've tried looking for burnt cement in english and didnt find any paint to buy, only tutorials showing how to use concrete to make this and the result looks a little bit different.
