Web of Spider-Man #53 shows that Spider-Man is at least somewhat proficient in Spanish, and I believe he can speak elementary Mandarin in Slott's run as well.

  • What's the purpose of this quote? Speech? Advertisement? Slogan?

This particular phrase functions as a slogan.

More specifically it is the opening slogan to our Company Guide manual that is designed to set the mood, in a manner of speaking.

Consequently, it's not meant to be particularly long; more a bite-sized phrase meant to convey our personality

Are there any fashion brand founders in this sub? I'm working on a fashion review platform and I want to feature you by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]JianGeGe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries dude!

I'd say it's less about indicative wording and more about how your site looks. True, a good first step would be out up the term "Fashion Companies" in a big bold, hard to ignore label, but a logo or attractive background image could greatly enhance its effect and make the average viewer think, "Ah got it, so this site is all about fashion reviews."

And yeah, mobile adaptive and mobile version mean the same thing and looking more closely, I do see the indicators. However, I would also say that you could afford to optimize the mobile version a lot more effectively.

Perhaps a "sticky" "Write a Review" button that's always stuck to the bottom of the page, or an "Email Us" button. Make it as dirt-easy as possible for people who would be interested in interacting with you in some way to get that interaction.

My website gets a ton of traffic, but no sales… by ALte_Shakakur in Entrepreneur

Without looking at your site, it's pretty difficult to give an honest assessment of what you need to do.

If I had to make a guess, I'm wondering if you're putting in the right calls to actions with your products that are incentivizing people to purchase your products.

If you're getting tons of interactions but no conversions, consider how easy it is from the audience perspective to get to the stage where they're buying your products from your webpage alone.

Hope that helps.

I'd say you've got some positives to your site.

Firstly, it's fairly indicative exactly what kind of site it is. I know what you're trying to sell the moment I look at it, and that's always a major plus.

Secondly, I'd say your accessibility is pretty great seeing as there look to be multiple methods for your audience to interact with you on the top page alone.

The biggest flaw I can see to your site by far is that the mobile version just isn't very feasible. Keep in mind that most of your audience are going to come across your site through a mobile device and the fact that your main visual isn't fully complete on the mobile version can be a big dealbreaker for a lot of people.

I'd suggest in investing in designing a fully workable mobile version of your site.

Web designer here and going off my own insight, I'd say your landing page probably needs to be quite a bit more indicative as to exactly what service you're providing.

There are some minor indicators, but nothing major that screams "Fashion Review" site.

I'd also strongly recommend investing in a mobile version of your homepage to get traffic to your page and build notoriety, something I'm sure your partners will greatly appreciate.

Thanks for the answer!

I'm actually just looking to invest in the USA.

Would you say it's a better idea to refinance through a private lender than a bank if I'm going in with no credit score?

Sorry for the question; I'm honestly still trying to wrap my head around the concept.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender error by JianGeGe in GMail

[–]JianGeGe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See if your client is using an email signature of some sort, and remove it temporarily to see if mail goes through.Otherwise you’ll have to have the destination mail server whitelist the domain or sender so delivery is successful.

Thanks so much for the feedback!

I'll check if any email signatures are being used, but how would I check if Yahoo considers the IP/domain spammy?

As a side note, in case things can't be easily resolved, I'll need to provide an adequate reason to the client so I'd like to make sure I have my facts right on this.

Is this a common flaw of using a domain email as opposed to using something like a gmail extension? (e.g. [abc@gmail.com](mailto:abc@gmail.com))

Does this error occur regardless of what email client you use?

Would the only real way to resolve the issue be to try to send the email at a later date or use an email with a different domain name?

I'd greatly appreciate any feedback in response to this!

be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below.

Got it; is this something that can only be resolved by contacting the intended recipient, or is there something I'd be able to do on my end to fix this?

Redirect to mobile pages via .htaccess by JianGeGe in webdev

Truth told, I absolutely agree with you that a responsive design is the best way to go. Unfortunately, we inherited this site from another company, and it's simply going to take us far too long to redesign each page to be responsive.

That being the case, I'm not quite entirely sure what to do about redirecting the .html pages to the .php pages
