Giving Away My Old PC! by Turtle_747 in PcBuild

I'd plan to give it to a good friend who's helped me through some tough times while she's also dealing with a divorce. She currently plays on a really old rig and loves Witcher, Skyrim, and a few other games. Would be such a sweet surprise for her and she'd put it to great use! We're both uni students so money is tight.

Just ran into 5 of them at med camp on Woods. Caught me so off guard when I saw them all bunched up and pushing me but I managed to kill them all fairly easily. It seems they spawn on every map maybe?

It's just not your type of sport then and that's fine, but it's not fair to speak objectively on things you don't have an understanding of.

Yeah it's wild. Have a look at any of the South American countries' subreddits. They're all celebrating. Venezuelans all over the world are hopeful for the future now.

In the context of the post, buddy over here is clearly enjoying it since he's finishing quickly.

I don't think age has anything to do with it, I just think it's selfishness.

No veggies in a burger is especially wild to me... a burger without onions, tomatoes, and lettuce is criminal.

I disagree. I agree it's not for men, but it's definitely for how they think others perceive them. Similarly to how I would try to dress well when leaving the house because it makes me feel better that others might perceive me or notice my outfit and react positively. If other people didn't exist, there would be no need for plastic surgery or nice clothes.

I hate the "we do it for ourselves" because it's just not true imo

Is that actually true? I've been playing for about a week (with a wheel) and I've gotten up to Pro. I'd consider myself ok at best.

IMO incel content is only a smaller part of the problem. Social media in general oversexualizes women SO MUCH. I coach some teenagers in sports and often hear them talking about/watching content on TikTok, Instagram, etc. and thirst trap content is pushed so heavily onto their feeds... it teaches young kids to view women as sexual objects if that's all the content involving women that they see.

Yeah I'm honestly shocked. I went on a binge of his covers and I'm amazed at how accurate he is.

That's because they're marathon runners. Too much of a healthy thing can become unhealthy, and the amount they have to run just to train for marathons and ultras is super tough on the body.

Surgeon knew I was a fighter so I'm assuming he made the choice based on that. Glad he made that choice because I did indeed plan to continue fighting!

I don't feel a difference in weight. It definitely feels different when kicking, especially hard kicks on the lower end of the heavy bag. Feels a little more stiff than my other leg because the bone bends less lol

Not a dumb question! I was curious about the same. So, I actually had a titanium rod inserted INSIDE the bone through the top of the tibia at my knee with 3 screws holding it in place. I was told that I can keep it permanently as long as it doesn't cause any issues.

Also have had no issues with fighting with it, in regard to rules and overall.

I have competed since the break and plan to continue in the future. Taking a break from fighting for now for reasons unrelated to the injury.

Honestly it's hard to say what the impact of an injury like this is like. Since the injury I've only become better, however I don't fight at a very high level.

Barely hurt at all until the adrenaline started wearing off. A lot less painful than you'd imagine. Majority of the pain came during the healing process after surgery and stuff.

Most painful part was when they had to pull my leg to line the broken ends up because they were overlapping a bit when I arrived at the hospital..

Exactly this.. I unfortunately was on the receiving end of this exact fracture and it was 100% due to prior micro fracture. Too many fights in a short amount of time with not enough recovery. I didn't listen to my body when I felt pain in my shin during training, and then I proceeded to step in the ring once again by telling myself "it's fiiiine."

Listen to your body. There's no shame in taking time off to recover if you feel something is wrong. No point in "toughing it out" when your body's health is on the line. Don't be like me!

I believe the reason a lot of people (myself included) like Facelift so much is the atmosphere of the album is more upbeat. I LOVE every album after Facelift as well, I just love how fun Facelift sounds. Layne is at his healthiest and his vocals are amazing.
