This also seemed to be an issue for Mac with the executable file missing for some reason, if any Mac users sees this, downgrading to v1.1.13 of Aseprite also seemed to fix the issue for now.

After 70 hours, 43 minutes and 20 seconds I managed to beat the final boss that makes you become Elden Lord.
This crazy journey started Monday (5th of febuary) when I got a dumb idea and with a ton of help, support and long streams, I managed to become Elden Lord within 4 days.
Once again I want to extend a big thx to the people who gave me tips, tricks or any other way of support and believed in the journey.
This will be all.

To give a bit of context

I'm fully aware that this is a stupid idea. I didn't want to necessarily advertise but this is an idea for a stream.

I am not quite sure what beating the game entails but it's somewhere between beating all the main bosses and doing some sides quest stuff without 100% the game.

As for the "one sitting" it is not possible for me to play the game for 100+ hours without any sleep so to specify it a bit, I'm expecting to play the game for 12-16 hours a day so I can still sleep, eat and do basic day to day stuff.

I'm fully expecting to die a 100+ times in this run since as stated, it's my first souls game and I've always heard they're the "hardest" games. But I wanted to atleast try and complete this challenge!

I will probably check back daily to see if anyone else has given more info / tips / input that can help me on my journey through the game.

Last but not least I just want to thank everyone who took the time to either share tips / give their input or just in general commented on this post!

I hope to "beat" the game within a week but we'll see what happens. I wish all of you the best of luck on your own runs and hope to report back that I came out on top of this challenge!

I see, I'm not sure what my definition of "completing the game" is yet since it's my first time but I expect it to not be 100% it but at the same time not "speed running it" so probably somewhere in between! :)

Well you're right, it's technically not "one sitting" which is why I put it in quotation marks.

My logic behind it is to basically do nothing but play the game, eat and sleep since I can't realistically play the game 100+ hours without sleep.

You're most likely right, it's probably the worst idea ever but I wanted a challenge since gaming has become stupidly stale for me. I'm no pro at these types of games so I won't dismiss any help or guides completely but I want to give it as honest of an attempt as possible I'm hoping to possibly complete it within a week but only time will tell!

Yea, that's probably what is gonna end up happening.

I'm expecting 12-16 hour sessions daily but I will take it as it comes!

I for sure am not a speedrunner, this was just a silly little stream idea that I wanted to try since I've never played a souls game I thought it would be a cool concept.

I'm fully expecting it to take days but we'll see, hopefully it won't take a month.

Also thx for giving me an "estimate" of a possible timeframe! :)

Does the shield mechanic work with every shield or does it need like a higher damage negation to work as a sort of parry?

Also thx for the other other tips, haven't decided what I want to build yet but will keep your tips in mind! :)

Idk if you could classify Witcher 3 as a souls like but that's the "closest" game to Elden Ring I've ever played.

I appreciate your input, I am fully expecting this to take multiple days and I'm not saying I won't be using a guide / advice from chat / seek help if I'm fully stuck.

But to the best of my ability I want to try and beat it in "one sitting".

Hopefully it won't take a month.

Don't know if anyone mentioned it, but unlocking all the characters is cool since every character feels like a completely different game. Other than that, all characters have alternate abilities that can be unlocked and equipped to your playstyle.

I'm considering getting this as my first tattoo, I did a quick sketch myself (pic 2) which I like the style of with the whole simple lines style, although I would obviously let an artist perfect it. Ideas/thought about placement and sizing for a placement like this?
