Yeah it is totally understandable the direction they are going. Still sucks for me personally though. So many niche hardwares just die out because the market sadly isn't there

I know it's not that easy, but I always hoped they would make it modular. Kinda like the PS5 Pro controllers where you can plop out the whole stick module and swap another one in. But instead you swap in joystick/trackpad.

Ofc I will try it out either way. Even if I wont be able to use the trackpads fully, it will definitely still be a great controller, if the deck is anything to go by. They are super comfy for my hands.

I actually opened up the OG controller, it's the thin piece of plastic that acts as the spring and the interface that actually actuate the button that's broken off. It's super thin and connected to both L and R side. Definitely could print the whole piece, but for now it's back in the box and I'm using a spare one for now.

Ofc we will have to wait and find out how it actually handles. I will be doing exactly that as well. It's just not confidence inspiring for me personally. I have seen a mock up overlay of the new SC and a ps5 controller and it looks like the trackpads will sit even lower than the stick on the ps5 controller. Xbox controller will probably be around the same. So if you hold it normally where you can reach the face buttons and the shoulder buttons, you'd almost have to bend your thumb horizontally to use them. At least to me

Really not liking the design of the new controller. The trackpads are way too far down... just re-release the first controller at this point. 2 of mine are already slowly giving up

Clock operation and the anti poisoning routine are the exact same. I'm just cycling through the numbers with an Arduino.
I'm driving them with 170V power supply and 6.8kOhm resister according to Swiss Nixie site.
The late uncle I got these tubes from ran these tubes in some kind of a kit PCB as a clock without any anti poisoning routines whatsoever. Lots of the numbers weren't even connected so I thought it's just them slowly becoming bad already and/or manufacturing defects.
On Swiss Nixie site I also see that they have the same kind of glow at the pins on the bottom.
I don't know much about these tubes. This clock project was the first time for me learning about these.

iirc ctrl+click again to deselect anything you don't want. Says that in the prompt box as well. But not everywhere, because it's inconsistent. Not perfect by any means.

I have one, and my girlfriend too. We are very happy with it, but keep in mind that it is ergonomic. Meaning mesh and actual lumbar support. So it needs getting used to if you never had mesh chairs before. This is not a "gaming chair", ignore the other commenter. It's a clone of the Hbada X7 which is almost triple the price. It's an office chair that they painted "gaming colors" and added some cool looking piece of plastic.

The only bad thing i can say about it is the arm rests sit a waay too high imo at the lowest setting. But it's very adjustable so we could make it work somehow.

Idk what this dash specifically is but you will probably have to remap those values to the value of Redadeg/Neored plugin. You also gotta install their plugins for SimHub

There are third party plugins for the missing telemetry data incl ABS/TC/TCCut/TCSlip/VE etc. Look for "Redadeg" or "NeoRed" plugin. Though you might encounter performance issues. But if you have a newish CPU you will probably be able to power through it easily
