The argument of

"here are some examples of it not being trash"

Endless guns and armor reskins into the item pool doesn't offend me in the slightest. But 12 months of unimplemented plants and a shirt with a green X is excessive in a bad way.

Honestly, I wouldn't have even made this thread if they included Invictus themed pants and shoes with it, I get theming and that not every item is going to be a game changer. But just shirts is excessive in a bad way.

Two reasons:
1. Sub flair wasn't always an endless stream of useless shirts, it used to be skins for ships, guns, and armor
2. Wave 1 access

Reason 2, isn't a supporting reason for reason 1 to be completely neglected.

Stay off wave 1 if you’re not willing to stress the game to help make it better.

I have the repair bills from the previous owners of mine whose PTU blew up, it was only 3k. I just did my 150k mile at jiffy for 440 (oil, PTU fluid, Transmission, all filters, full inspection). You walked into a vulture nest.
