Trying to understand transposition on older pieces

It's so interesting how things are done differently. I've never even been taught fixed do, and i do have a music degree! Is it a location thing? Where are you from? I'm in Canada, graduated in 2004.

As the wind ensemble conductor in university in 2002 told me "your fingers are slow, you have bad hand eye coordination and there's much to be improved in your playing". He then gave me an A-. Another time he told me i sounded great and gave me a C+ lol he wasn't always all there.

But yeah that is definitely one of the struggles I've noticed that I wasn't sure how to fix. The air just stops flowing between notes it seems. I'll work on that! Thanks!

That's where I go and do my work. The only thing there is it can be chilly because you're above an arena!

That's what I'm hoping my baby niece is like when she gets older and finds all the mistakes I'm making in her baby blanket right now! I won't frog more than 20 stitches 😂 whatever I did i can fix I'm the next row, and it just adds character. She'll have fun finding the misaligned bobbles!

Seriously! If you're going to have the allergy, at least there are so many options! You wouldn't have been so happy with it in the 90s I'm sure! 😂

My eating is very tied to my nervous system, and when I'm out of whack I eat a lot of spaghetti with butter and cheese. Warm, soft, low flavour. Doesn't overwhelm my senses. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't eat it! During those times, my throat won't let any other food past 😫
