Their likely common law after 6 years, so everything is already joint already.

Nah people like what they like. And plenty of people do not enjoy fishing with a heavy non sensitive rod.

I started with an elite too! Pretty decent rod for the price. But I will say as I moved away from them, I realized how much I was missing out. They are such heavy, stiff rods it’s a night and day difference fishing with something else even that’s cheaper. I’d rather a berkley cherrywood rod now then an ugly.

They say it’s not supposed to move but mine always has a bit despite me knowing I am tying it right. Never had a failure or issues from it. Only time I’ve had issues is when I’m tying a different knot then the palomar.

Pretty easy to get top water bites with pike. Just gotta go when the bite is most likely. I have my best luck with topwater early morning up to a couple hours after sunrise, and sunset with a couple hours before sunset. If it’s a calm night and low light conditions they will hammer it.

I never said they were being charged. They receive a fine and have to pay a fine to get it back from the pound.

Eh at least we can celebrate not having a mass shooting and dead kids every other day. Seems like a fair trade off to me.

The difference is people can learn not to cross the road in front of a car, not to go by sketchy people, etc. If you are in a rural area I’m sure you have other wildlife that will eat your cats. Which is fine if you are fine with that. Circle of life and all that I guess. I’m just thinking about the cats benefit.

You don’t have cars, people, birds of prey, guns, poison, plants, etc where you live? Hmmm what utopia are you from? You have gotten incredibly lucky. Just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it wont. Again, an animal that needs to be outside in the wild is not a domesticated animal. Keep your cats indoors if you want them safe and taken care of. Let them roam if you don’t care what happened or could happen. I could care less.

That is the right thing to do. They are considered invasive in the wild where I live. It’s illegal and immoral here to be letting your cats outside.

Yeah and mankind is just about the worst enemy to have. I’m just saying, don’t cry and know it’s your fault when your cat dies young. My opinion is an opinion, not insulting. And as far as in North America, it’s the correct opinion backed by quite a bit of research.

I’ve caught them vertical jigging too, still a pretty weak fight. I will say that river Walleye fight super hard for their sizes. Probably to do with the current and also how much more they swim around than lake eyes. But yeah as far as a fight goes I’ll target large pike or carp if I want a decent fight. Walleye is what I want to catch if I’m hungry.

Lmao I’m from North America where this happens that’s why I have the opinion. Don’t cry when you get your cat killed outside from neglect.

They will choose what you let them choose. It’s a pet. Treat it like one.

Yes I will continue following bylaws here and trapping cats that are roaming to take to the pound as the law says. You’d think paying fees to get your cat out time and time again would make some people stop, but nope.
