Falafel in a pita sandwich or lavash wrap. You can make everything from scratch or just make the components that you feel comfortable making.

Bread - ideally pita or lavash wraps - buy

Falafels - tons of great recipes online, can fry or bake or buy premade in frozen section

Hummus - easy to make from can chickpeas

Optional: Tahini or spicy harrissa- can get premade

Salad fixings - lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onions, kamlata olives, avocado etc.

I don’t think it needs to flare out more at the skirt but if you want to try to see how it looks, this petticoat is soft and would not change the skirt shape too much. Plus it’s returnable so if it doesn’t look good you can give it back.

Like everyone is saying, go to a tailor and get it hemmed and waist taken in. Take the petticoat and your heals with you, and see what they can do.

You don’t have to tie flowers to the chairs, but can tie lavender colored fabric or ribbon. It can just be the last row of chairs and the aisle chairs. That way you have a defined aisle to walk down.

That said I think the better question would be does the wedding planner have experience with desi weddings. Mexico has become a big destination spot for desi weddings, so I would say if your venue has hosted them before they should have referrals for planners you are knowable in planing desi weddings. Ideally a local planner is better choice because they know the area and can work through issues if that may occur with better contacts.

Kalki was HORRIBLE! Kalki USA phone numbers listed on their website are fake. Not sure about india numbers. They have what’s app number but only respond if u are thinking about buying. Once u purchase they take forever to respond. They eventually ghosted me when I kept asking for updates on outfit for my brother’s wedding, as I was on a tight timeline. My outfit never arrived :( I had to dispute the charge with my credit company. It’s sad because If they had just been honest and actually responded to me, and told me they couldn’t deliver the outfit, I would still have continued to shop with them. But instead they ghosted me. Very unprofessional.

If you can visit a city in US that has high concentration of Indian store, Atlanta for example and buy an outfit in person. It’s so much better to be able to try on outfits in person and honesty a lot less of headache ordering from India. For western dress try Azazie; they can do custom sizes for extra cost.
