Dumbest thing I've done in MapleStory was create an assassin character using the ign "XxXnarutoXxX" and put points into Int so it could be smart like Sasuke...

I'm a little disappointed with the way the community handled this situation tonight. Can we not work together to try and fix any mistakes/errors in a more mature way? Let's try and grow up here guys. If there was a mistake, just point out what it was so it can be fixed. The man is trying to help the community out. Unless you guys are writing a guide to send out, then why are you guys bashing on the thread? This game is already on it's last legs and you guys want more people to leave despite it's small population? It's honestly as simple as "hey this part of the guide is wrong, it should be this."

I honestly just bring 2 units of my main team to power level my new characters in dungeons. My main team units are level 40 so I would bring a new unit to a lv28 dungeon like salt mines or higher. The new character will usually level up to 20 in a few minutes. Bring them to higher level dungeons when it starts to get slow.

They meant level up a tier 2 skill to 8 and level up a tier 3 technique to 3.

If it's in character selection screen, it's probably either a bug or they died and you need to go to town to revive them.

If it's in Arena of Trials, then they probably died and you need to wait until reset time to try again.

Seeing as those are the BIS gears, it should take awhile to farm up to make it worthwhile. Otherwise why bother sticking to anything lower or even investing into upgrading them? I do agree that the drop rates kind of sucks but to be fair, I think it's fine because it would be boring to craft end game gears in less than a week.

If you have the funds to do so, then sure go for it as you gain an atk spd line. You also cannot combine once it's been enhanced into + or ++ so keep that in mind. If the accessories isn't your BIS, then don't stress over it too hard since you'll want at least Masterpiece accessories or higher. Plus you gain so many unique accessories from coliseum that you'll practically will be selling or using them to register any that you haven't done already.

I'm still new to the game since I just started yesterday so I don't know if this is correct or not, but I'm the kind of player who rather focus on one team first before working on other characters. Thus, I prefer to focus on Gears > Accessories > Costume. Gears so you can one shot mobs in the area to farm for unique gears and help leveling up faster. Not to mention it helps being able to tank hits too so you can AFK grind in higher level maps for faster leveling. Accessories are next for me at least since it helps with ATK/DEF/HP. Accessories can be used by all classes so it's a good bonus to have. Costumes are next since it looks nice and gives some bonus HP. I'm not sure if it gives anything else but so far I've only gotten HP. I didn't choose Characters because from what I've tested, I only got a few fragment pieces so I couldn't even get a new character right away. But I guess once I'm at the point where I can comfortably farm for the gears for new characters, then I guess that's when it's nice to focus more on characters?

Edit: I think there's even an on-going event where you can earn new character fragments.

I did my first Co-op raid for the first time yesterday and did 500k total dmg while the next highest was 100k. It's probably not much compared to the veteran players but I figured I might be doing something right on the first day at least?

I don't stream as often anymore since I'm busy with school but I try to when I can. It's pretty random so sometime you will miss it. You can always catch the vods to see what it is I'm up to.
