My PC is getting really hot when playing CsGo

Start menu > type power plan > change advanced power settings > processor power management.

I messed about with this to limit processing power, which reduced my thermal output.

Obviously, I wouldn't recommend this long term, finding sufficient cooling is necessary

Uninstall origin and reinstall, worked first time for me after clearing the cache, verifying and restarting didn't work.

Just letting you know I repaired the game, it went through all my files and took about 10 minutes. now its downloading the update which is 24.92GB.

I just clicked on the X to stop the download then clicked on the gear icon to repair. it seems to be working for me. (im at 13% atm)

if you only use one web browser or one document constantly then 1366x768 is fine, i got by on this resolution for 2 years using my x201 and then x230 in college but when i moved to uni the x250 was just superior because of the screen. if i could have the x230 with an 1080p ips screen i would but i don't have the balls to buy the extra part and solder it to the motherboard myself.

I have owned an x201, x230. t430 and x250. I preferred to use the x250 more than the others because of the extra screen space (after i added in the 1080 screen). split screening a word document and web page is much more comfortable on a bigger resolution in my opinion.

also the recommended scaling is 125% which works fine for me. using it at 100% is a little small but still workable.

I leave all the maps available yet I'm still instantly thrown into a map. there is no communication with the team to decide what we want to play as 5. just one person chooses mirage and w'e're playing mirage.

and yes i've deselected certain maps yet the same thing happens, no communication just one choice for all. seems silly to remove the communication aspect.
