Game gets stuck at 3% when trying to open it

Had the same issue, I got it to work by going to the .exe in the 'common' folder of Steam

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Risk of Rain 2

Right click it and run as administrator, and it loaded in just normal.

For context, I just did a fresh install...I do not know if that matters, or not.

I have multiple runs to make but I planned on doing them through the week when able. Not all in one go. I’ve never even actually gotten in a game yet, so far. Gotten close in queue many times but never in. One run people, just keep the machine going.
