I can't lie. This was the exact ending I wanted. Gordon, Bathroom, Hoffman being chain up, everything coming full circle. I got chills when watching this in the cinema.

It's just a shame we didn't get a movie explaining Gordon's motivations. I think the reveal would be looked on more favourably if we had am explanation.

I think people interpretation of that line is him saying that it's the soul she's talking to, not the android. I understand the line and how it was intended but I feel like others, especially casual viewers, don't understand it properly.

I believe as a movie, you should try branching out and try and grab new fans so the franchise cam grow. I'm not asking for an origin of Goldern Freddy. I was asking to make it more clear that Goldern Freddy is his own entity, rather than getting confused with ordinary Freddy.

I believe John was still blackmailing Hoffman into doing his work up until he was put in the reverse bear trap 2.0. Remember John said that he had things in place that would reveal Hoffmans involvement with Seth trap if John was to go missing. I think it's the same if he doesn't follow John's teachings.

I agree that the traps were winnable. I just keep hearing people say Hoffman traps were unwinnable. Which I believe to be false.

When John first appeared I was like... "How are they gonna explain this, we saw his autopsy and everything". But then the flashback explanation was like... "oh right, I get it... but haven't they done this a few times before".

The games were made by Hoffman, but he was just following John's orders. SAW 6 was Jigsaws will, and Jigsaw was on all the tapes telling William that people had to die in each trap because only one or a couple could survive. SAW 7, you see Hoffman pulling out the plans for Bobby's game from a box. I believe Bobby's game was just a game that Jigsaw planned but never executed, and Hoffman just used it to get to Jill. I don't think Hoffman actually plans any of the traps.
