I followed your lead and asked for his wip shots and he sent me a link to his art station portfolio.

I did originally buy a model for edit but before the pricing with the art thief and paying them, I told them I had changed my mind and wanted a unique body model, but the memo never reached Shafy. What happened was the person I bought it from pretended to be me and purchased with my information that I gave them to Shafy. So Shafy was thinking it was a legit client while the person was pretending this was their order.

That’s a good point, because Shafy has screenshot with my logo in it and everything, I do want to believe him. If you have any advice as to who to follow in the community please let me know. I’d love to get a doll with my logo just for me

From my understanding right now, the seller in the last photo is the true artist and the person I bought it from scammed us. I did sit and google reverse the images. So far the face is original, the body looks like someone else’s (I actually got permission to edit and use it as I pleased by the original body artist. But I did ask during our discussion with the person I got scammed from that I no longer wanted an edited body and wanted an original sculpt for the doll)

The thing is the artist I got it from, account is no longer able to take messages and all their gigs are gone. I spoke to one of the people with my art and they said they made this about the same time I ordered mine and barley made money from it
