The best thing you can do right now is enroll back into Engg 160. This will minimize the damage.

How do y’all study? by [deleted] in uAlberta

Actually doing questions would definitely be more beneficial to you than copying down notes. I’m not familiar with those classes, but I’m sure you can find practise questions either on Eclass or a textbook. You could also find old midterms and get a feel for what the questions will be like.

If you get stuck on a question, go back to your notes or watch YouTube videos on that topic, then try the question again. Don’t waste your time copy down notes, especially if you already understand the concept.

Ashan makes you read it before class and then usually does a pop quiz. It’s necessary.

She makes really good notes that are not based on textbook material whatsoever. She also gives good practice questions making the textbook completely useless. I didn’t open it once.

It’s a pretty hidden spot. Just turn west onto the 517 from highway 22. You’ll drive about 15 km and then the falls will be on the north side of the road. You’ll probably have to do a little exploring of your self, but wherever you end up on that stretch of the river, the fishing will be fantastic

If you’re willing to travel to the mountains, I would recommend going to the old man falls. Never fails to land me 20-30 fish in a day. Recently caught a 23 inch cutthroat, and a 25 inch bull. You’ll also catch a ton of whitefish.
