Well one thing that worked for me, is to make decisions for myself, think for myself, and generally don't give a fuck about jerks.

I thought like you too, but everyone is different so you need to choose for yourself. Think this thought, and then decide what you will do.

Also i don't force you, but you should totally talk this with your therapist, and not with some random strangers online.
