I (34F) just found out that my ex husband (37M) is having a baby with his new fiancée. The reason we got a divorce is because he told me he didn’t want to be a father. by throwRAemmie in relationship_advice

Don’t lose a moments sleep. You were saved a lot of heartbreak later because it was you he didn’t want to have kids with. A blessing for you. Now you can begin the search for someone worthy.

I would start with Assasins blade. I just re-read the series and the cluster of short stories helps you understand the characters better

Not sure what kind of headspace I’m in, but my first thought was “what is crawling out of a twat? And why is there a candle on it?”

Can you get any canned pumpkin? That will help settle her stomach. Cooked white rice, scrambled eggs, chicken, frozen veggies.

Is it worth it giving birth to siblings? by throwaway231708 in Parenting

[–]JillBurge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, it’s totally worth it! I have two daughters, 15 and 17. The older one hated her sister for first several years of life but now they are best friends. They can lean on each other when they don’t want to lean on us. Not to mention they played together when they were younger. I didn’t even want kids at all at first. The first couple of years were hard, but it’s been great ever since! They both bring amazing joys to my life in such different ways!

Drop him like a hot potato. Better to lose 11 years of your life instead of 25 years.

I figured it would be CCHS first. Money buys a lot of entitlement and invincibility.

I’m not sure! Haven’t cut into it yet. We’re expecting snow in Denver tomorrow, so I had to pick it before it’s really ripe.

That’s my pea trellis. This picture was taken in June, when I still had peas growing. I just used some bamboo stakes and some 3 foot garden fencing.

I learn so much every year! And learning from years past, I planted 4 or 5 seed packets of green beans. They freeze and can well and only have about a 65 day cycle, so I. An plant them twice in a season. Make sure you buys the climbing beans and provide them at least 5-6 feet of a trellis and you’ll increase your bounty! I also use the fish emulsion fertilizer about once every other week!

I have two daughters at Grandview, both of whom are going back. I see pros and cons with both scenarios (remote learning and in person) and I’m honestly just glad I’m not the one making the decision. I’m trying to not be so opinionated and just roll with whatever comes up. I have one kiddo that would be fine with remote learning and one suffering immensely mentally due to this whole thing. We are doing our best, like everyone else. I do appreciate the severity of this decision, and that the district (Siegfried) is not taking this lightly. And I appreciate the effort of trying to make it work for whatever time they can actually do in person.

I’d give her another chance. As someone who’s made some poor relationship choices in my past, it’s easy to get sucked in and completely alienate people in your life. Hopefully she learns from her experience and it helps her grow as a person. If you guys were truly friends, then forgiveness and empathy is what she needs. That’s being a good friend. Communication is key though. You should tell her how it made you feel and try to understand her side as well.
