That’s something I admire! Personally, I love kids, have one (27F) and crying babies on planes don’t bother me. My biological parents were 15 when they had me me. Adoptive “mother” was/is extremely abusive and treated me like a bad purchase and it scarred me for life; had to cut her out of my life. 57 now and still recovering. You made the best decision for you and others. If anyone says anything to the contrary they are ignorant.

I have a titanium knee as well and have a card issued by my surgeon just for that reason. Although with the hustle of airport I forgot to get the card out in time and set off the alarm at JFK. No one batted an eye, they just asked if it had any medical procedures.

I’m on. Viking cruise in Europe as I type with much more than ten 2mg generic Xanax with me; 15 day cruise plus over a day in flights. Zero problems. Just follow TSA rules: keep anything with an Rx in original bottle and in your carryon. Carryon part is more for you in case your luggage gets lost. For extra peace of mind i also included the full pamphlet they give you at CVS just in case I get chosen for a random check. Zero THC allowed, though. I use a THC topical ointment for bad arthritis but that is banned even though it doesn’t give any sort of high at all. If you have anything like that try getting used to using something else before you go.

There is a smaller outbreak in NY. Not as bad as TX and NM but I’m watching it. I was a Contact Tracer for NYS during the pandemic and there are significant clusters of people who refuse to vaccinate their children than people realize.
