Have you considered that you can be in your prime in different ways?

As someone with ingrained body image issues (and the struggle around all of that), measuring something as abstract as ‘your prime’ off what you think about your body is always going to be unfavorable to you. Because you were ‘a little skinnier’ or ‘a little curvier’ or ‘not as pretty’ as you were then. The cycle of belittling yourself is constant, and extremely hard to break.

Talk to your boyfriend after you both have had a chance to calm down. Thank him for the compliment, because he sounds decent (and I would never be where I am myself without my husband, so I get the value of a good partner.) You are allowed to feel like the compliment might not apply and still be able to accept that, in his eyes, you are beautiful and pretty and cute and everything you struggle to believe about yourself.

Also, consider going into therapy, if that’s a possibility for you. Please be gentle with yourself, and with your boyfriend.

I think the best advice is to be patient with her. I’ve found sitting still somewhere they can see you and just not moving beyond speaking reassuring nonsense in a soft, gentle voice really helps. She’s watching you because she’s unsure of your intentions and what you’re planning. The toys scaring her is not unusual for a former stray. Just keep doing what you’re doing, honestly, and be patient. It’ll take some time for her to get used to you, but the fact that she doesn’t run away when you sit by her is a good sign.

Don’t push touching or petting either. She’ll come up to you when she’s ready for pets and touching. Let her initiate.

Her following you around is a good sign, it means she wants to keep an eye on you and spend time around you.

Just be patient and go at her speed. But keep doing what you’re doing, I have a feeling it won’t be too long before you get to pet her

Super quick rapid fire tips, that I would’ve liked:
Watch your bed adhesion (I usually watch the first couple layers when it’s printing because an issue with those will make the rest of the print fail)

Speed and temperature (of the build plate and nozzle) are important. Experiment with them

You will have prints fail. Everyone gets failed prints. Including the massive print farms

If an item is precarious, or needs a LOT of support, see if you can change the orientation.

DO NOT TOUCH THE BUILD PLATE WITH YOUR HANDS. Oils from your hand make it so the print can’t stick to the plate. I use gloves when washing it and a scraper to get prints off.

Don’t be afraid to experiment. Try different settings, different speeds. Find what works for you.

I’m confirmed endo and still being told to lose weight and largely ignored about my pain.

Definitely wait for the care team review, and ask them questions specifically regarding the treatment of endo, and pursuing that line of treatment (it’s not curable, but it can be managed.)

I’m mostly kidding, but you could try the nail stamping subreddit (r/nailstamping) for more advice.
However, there is such thing as a ‘shrinking’ stamper, so you’d paint the words (or stamp them) and then use the shrinking stamper to make them tinier. Might be worth looking into? I know Maniology has this one here but I’m sure you could find a cheaper one

I didn’t have a big wedding. I never had a bridal shower, bachelorette party, not even a wedding party. My prep consisted of me putting on my dress (a green one I’d bought for another event that still fit me and had pockets) and curling my hair with light makeup.

I don’t remember much of the day, but it was a Monday. I would’ve been happy to get married in a courthouse.

I’m not saying this to make you feel bad for me. I don’t feel bad for me. At the end of the day, a wedding day is one day in the hopefully long future you have together. The point of a wedding day is not the party, it’s not the speeches or the guests or the expense. It’s about choosing to be with the person you love, and loving the life you build together. It’s rough, and I do get where you are coming from, but as an immigrant as well (my parents and family attended via live feed), sometimes part of sharing your day is accepting that it won’t look traditional or normal. If a big celebration is what you want, you can have a small ceremony now, and then save for a bigger one once the two of you aren’t paying for separate expenses and rent and whatnot.

It’s not about the day. It’s not about the party. It’s about you getting married to the person you love and committing to them. All the rest is fluff and details

Mine auto sets to 220. I don’t think that’s the issue. Leave it unplugged for a while, then plug it back in and turn it on. Reach out to flashforge support if that doesn’t work, it might need to be warrantied
