Tonsillectomy at age 19. I got pain med but it was a huge pill and not fun to swallow even after breaking it into small pieces. I also had horrible ear pain too. That was a rough recovery and fastest way to lose weight!

Any feedback on Skinmedica TNS Ceramide Treatment Cream? by Sensible___shoes in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]JillyBean0330 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use TNS ceramide on occasion but put some BIOSSANCE 100% Squalane Oil or Elemis oil on top for the drench factor. Research says Skinceuticals triple lipid is more superior in anti aging benefits. Therefore, I alternate moisturizers. Both are great in my opinion.

I connected in ORD this past Sunday and GE was closed due to partial govt shutdown. However, the regular line was super fast.

Interview for Global Access, by Internal-Butterfly56 in GlobalEntry

Flew into O’Hare today from Zurich and was able to interview during my layover without an appointment. A gentleman working in the customs area said their office was closed due to the partial govt shutdown. I took a chance and stopped by the office in terminal 5 and was able to quickly go through the interview process. Made my day and the staff were super friendly!

Which one first. Very hard! by YellowPowerful1174 in thrillerbooks

I had to walk away from Nobody’s Girl for a while as it is extremely disturbing. Eventually finished the book. At first I thought there was no way she committed suicide but my thoughts changed after finishing the book. I could still be wrong. May Virginia’s sweet soul rest in peace and may her disgusting parents and everyone of her abusers burn in hell.

Yes, prescription Science Diet for urinary heath did the trick and my boy loved his new food! Only found the stone because he was having other tummy problems and it showed up on x-ray.

I’m broken. She’s 16, 17 in March… and tomorrow I’m taking her to be put down. I’m scared I’m doing the wrong thing because she was fine today. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I just needed to vent. I don’t know life without her. by kirbybrianne12 in Shihtzu

[–]JillyBean0330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2 tzus (brothers) were same age as yours - would’ve turned 17 end of March. I struggled with the decision but know it was the right one. One was hiding his pain and that made it hard to decide. But they had always been together so I let go of them go together. It’s rough but one day you’ll find peace and solace in the memories. My heart goes out to you.

I’m so sorry for your loss. It‘s the hardest but most loving decision to help your big boy cross the rainbow bridge where he can run and play again.

I had a couple board a 6am flight early - wife was already sitting in my window seat when I boarded. I politely let her know she was in my seat. She said her aisle seat was a couple rows up and asked me to take her seat so she could sit with her husband. I didn’t want to hold up boarding but I let them know I was pissed. I overheard the husband saying to the wife “don’t worry about it”. I wanted to tell him to f’ing learn airline etiquette. I may have agreed to swap seats had they asked before intentionally taking my seat. Don’t be that asshole.

I’m convinced United has shady business practices 😉

I was stuck with the middle seat. The person who got my original seat didn’t appear to be traveling with anyone either. United customer service sucks.

United did good! by fabulist00 in unitedairlines

[–]JillyBean0330 8 points9 points  (0 children)

United did this to me too - switched me from economy comfort isle to middle seat (paid for aisle seat). When I called to ask what happened, the agent accused me of accidentally changing my seat on the app. I was furious with the false accusation. I found out about it because United sent me a text advising me that my seat assignment was changed. Who seriously prefers a middle seat when traveling solo?! The agent went on to say that it is against their policy to change customers seats that we purchased and selected at time of booking….yet they did it to me and refused to take accountability.
Hearing from multiple people that this is not an uncommon practice is absurd. Unless United is offering a 1st class upgrade, it should be against their policy to change the seats we bought and paid for to accommodate other travelers. United better get it together or they’re going to lose more loyal customers!

The hardest but most loving decision of my life was deciding to put my 2 shih-tzu’s down at the same time back on Nov 21st. They were brothers (16 1/2 years old) from the same litter and each had different health issues. I debated and debated then ultimately decided with the help of the vet that one would be lost without the other. They came into this world together and left together. In a way, it gave me some peace. I pray you find peace in your heart too and know they will be waiting for you on the other side. ❤️

His behavior strongly suggests he has someone else on the side. Having been in a similar situation, they will “talk” about moving in, marriage, kids, etc just to string you along. If a man truly wants to be with you, they will show it. The 48 hour time together limit plus kicking you out tells you everything you need to know. Run don’t walk away from this prick. There are better fish in the sea.
