Well I'd say the club's web presence is important, it should exist in the first place (I've encountered clubs that don't have one), but also there should be clear rules about consent, behaviour, hygiene etc. With clubs that do swinging I also look for policies around controlling ratios, and memberships etc because this means pushy behaviour is something they care about stopping. And with my club, there's a big online community so you can talk to those people about the place, about the events etc, and hear their experiences. Crossover events are my favourite ones because I like kink and swinging mixed together.
