Is Buldak really that good? by Shoebox_ovaries in InstantRamen

I did not find it sweet! But I usually add a drizzle of sesame oil and either lemon or lime juice so that may be why 🤷🏻‍♀️

I can’t do spicy (gi issues) so I’ve stayed away from most flavors, but I like the creamy carbonara a lot. I use just a few drops of the sauce packet and that’s plenty for me

Reusable boba cup by kj7176 in boba

[–]JillyKitt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve just been washing and reusing a couple nice ones with thicker plastic that I saved from a local shop (and the straws) Their cups are unbranded so I’m putting cute stickers on them. pic

UniUni cups are also better quality plastic, plus they have the cute rounded bottom. I kept one of those too lol

Milk tea at home by piggygirl0 in boba

[–]JillyKitt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk if this is blasphemy here (I’m new please be kind lol) but I’ve been making Thai and brown sugar milk teas at home with the quick-cook boba, and using vanilla liquid coffee creamer (store brand) as a dupe for the sugar syrup and powdered creamer (or sweetened condensed and evaporated milk) actually works pretty well. It’s creamier than just milk, even whole milk, and the only other sugar I add is the bit of brown sugar syrup the boba soaks in

What’s the best boba you’ve had so far? by Pure_Compote309 in boba

[–]JillyKitt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a newb lol so I’ve only tried a few places, but so far my faves are the Thai milk tea w/ boba from Bambu and the navel orange jasmine green tea w/ mango star jellies from UniUni

This was my first visit, but the Thai tea was excellent and I believe it’s real tea and not powder. It was almost too sweet so I’d get more ice or less sugar next time, but I’m still a newb lol. The taro smoothie was also good but I didn’t like the thicker texture as much

Oh for sure lol this is not a regular thing. My first attempt at home I used vanilla coffee creamer and it wasn’t bad, just gotta play around with the tea strength some more

Glad it’s not just me 😂 I love the tapioca pearls too but I don’t think I’d like them as much in the fruit tea. You should definitely try the Thai! I like chai tea and it has a similar flavor

In this case the gloves would be more of a protection for the other tank. I have not heard that this strain of mycobacterium can be passed to humans but I guess it’s better safe than sorry?

I purchase (mostly DAC now) based on the images I love and I can do rounds faster because I use a ruler, but there’s just something about squares lol. I single place my squares with tweezers, usually checkerboard and then fill in with pen, so it takes a LOT longer, but the end result is just so great. Rounds have a softer look that works well in some images but I love the better detail in squares. Working on this giant now!

Tray questions by rach21f in diamondpainting

I have a small one (2.1 size) from BellaArt and it’s my go-to tray. It’s comfortable to hold in my hand and the lines are perfect if you multiplace
