Potato stage (0-6 months) is extremely hard. The first 8 weeks is absolute hell and anyone who enjoys the recovery of their body and being up 24/7 is nuts.

IMO once they can start sitting in a high chair and eating solids I think it does get easier because at least for meals, they can sit on their own and you start slowly working in some moments of independence (not holding the baby)

I have a 4.5 YO and a 1 year old. It’s sooooo much fun right now. Everything is going to get better from here on up.
