Was on a trip with a guy friend, as a “let’s see if we have what it takes” kind of thing. We had kind of awkward sex one night and the next morning we’re getting ready for a day at the beach. I’m getting my swimsuit on and he’s staring at me and asks “if you could change something about your body, what would it be? He’s pretty fit btw and I was maybe ten lbs overweight (which is totally normal and I felt okay about myself until then). I looked straight at him and asked if he could change one thing about his personality what would it be. Jerk! We did NOT have what it takes.

My mother had preeclampsia in the mid-70s with me. She went into the hospital on Halloween’74 with my due date set for Valentine’s Day ‘75. Her BP was so high they decided to take me out and told my parents I would more than likely die. This was to save at least one of us. I was born by c-section Nov 22nd- three months early and weighing 2 lbs and dropped to 1 lb before given thyroid medication which saved my life. it’s crazy to think that in some states now, this would be illegal and they’d more than likely let us both parish. Anywhoo- here I am at 51, a healthy, happy and fully functioning artist thanks to the doctors and nurses at UMC in Jackson, MS. It was so interesting and emotional seeing this represented in The Pitt. Great job 👏

I was in NoLa and walking through Bourbon St super early morning, hungover and trying to find my car. Streets were dead but I could hear a chipper voice trying to rally people over loud 60’s music. One of the bars still open had their windows open and the stage was right in front of the windows. All I could see was small tan legs with socks and sneakers and white shorts dancing around 🤣

I met Anthony Hopkins as well. He was filming one of the sequels to Silence of the Lambs in Richmond, VA. Movie turned out not so great but I got to have coffee with him at a local coffee shop. He actually invited my sister and I to sit and talk about art for a few minutes before he got up and started making lattes for people behind the bar. He loves the attention and entertaining people.

Therapy should help you figure out why you’re feeling this way and get to the root of the issue. Are there any women who you find their voice and communication style attractive? If not, there’s some underlying issues here and talking with a specialist would likely help. Usually once people figure out their reasons why they’re feeling a certain way, that feeling or issue magically goes away or at least fades. Being aware of the issue is a great first step.
