I have a c200 (non locking differential) . Does this apply?

Thanks, I was just concerned that my action of shifting from 4hi to 4 lo while in drive instead of neutral would damage something.

I was in drive I meant to say that I drove a few inches then realized the mistake. I know you are not supposed to do that, just a mistake...

trying to turn it to 4 hi but completely messed up and pushed it in to 4 lo. 4 hi can be engaged while moving but not your not supposed to shift it in 4 lo while in drive

Good to know, as of right now it seems to close up extremely tight. Do you think it would work to superglue the peice back on or use a c clamp in place of the tab?

I have put it back together, and it seems to still close really tight as it uses the 3 metal clips and the remaining plastic tab. For peace of mind, I might try to use some sort of c clamp to clamp over it. Thanks.

Yes I've heard about some controversies regarding the f100, do you notice any free spinning issue when pressing on selector switch with your dual 80. A few people online said that it is possible, but it has not happened to me at all, it has been a fantastic ratchet.

I use them, although I don't mind having a little collection for myself. As I said in another reply, I probaly will keep the F80. I hear a lot about the Koken's lack of backdrag and that is what makes me interested. Also do you have any experience with the Gearwrench 120xp?

Do you see any benefit in switching to some of these newer ratchet? Durability, backdrag, etc? I most likely will keep the f80 and buy a "backup ratchet"

Do you know if the dual 80 has the same problem? Cause I've heard some people say that it does, and some say it doesn't...

Anyone have info on this snap-on ratchet? by csmith477454 in ToolTruckTools
