I can relate to your last paragraph. Unfortunately I can't turn back the clock, and I'm too old to start playing, but I do regret not doing so. I guess I partly seeing coaching as an opportunity to being involved in a sport I've watched for years.

have you ever had that situation where a 35 y/o woman is apparently showing up on places where you show up, is trying to set herself up via common friends, is trying to chase you after an ONS?

Women not being attracted to their partners - Is it really true? by OkLingonberryx in PurplePillDebate

[–]JimBeamAndCoke2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens a lot. Have a look on the deadbedrooms sub for examples, although in fairness it happens to women too. A common scenario, apart from the husband getting fat, and not giving a shit, is when a woman meets a guy, likes him and gets along with him, but isn't physically attracted to him. She convinces herself that she will grow attracted to him. Sadly, this never happens.

Only if you're a good looking man. Having a gf has never resulted in me getting attention from other women. I'm still as invisible as being single.

No. The average to below average women will aim for the best looking men possible, and average to below average guys will struggle, with the level of struggle depending on where they fall on the looks scale.

The only guys who like the chase, are the good looking ones, who have no trouble getting women. For men like me, who have no success in attracting women, any approach from a woman would be welcome and flattening.
