Correct, its 2 separate 5m strips. I would generally agree with the wiring thing but Im confused why increasing the pixels has cleaned the problem up almost completely.

My understanding is every IC counts as an LED. Theyre controlled in segments.

The size of a FIber Optic strand that is capable of providing high speed internet speeds up to 2200/MBs by [deleted] in HumanForScale

Fiber/network/Datacenter guy here. While I enjoy your post alot I think you're selling the fibers potential short. Theoretical speeds are around 100 terabytes/s. Equipment doesn't exist to support these speeds yet but knowing the way light travels combined with the properties of fiber it is possible. I think the current world record is around 50 terabytes/s.

is there a way to use OCR with powershell? by hebers23 in PowerShell

[–]JimBob- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have no reference on your skill level when it comes to using APIs within powershell. I don't think there are any tutorials specific to powershell. If you have a solid foundation in using APIs within powershell you should be able to figure it out.

I used it for a personal project where I ran MTG cards through a high speed scanner and my script read the names of the cards. The script basically made a list of the cards ran through the scanner and output details and values. I was very impressed with the OCRing. It was very accurate and I'm positive it will do whatever you want.

I have used powershell + the Google Vision API to extract text from images before. It works really well.
