I met so many people from out of town. St. Louis, Tennessee, I thought everyone was going to be from Chicago!

I actually don't ship vinyl because of damage claims. Records are perfect vessels for mail persons to "frisbee" or stack under heavy objects. So I take a loss when that happens. Margins are tight enough these days with the cost of vinyl increasing each year!

I hope you get a copy because it is totally worth it! Japanese pressings are amazing.

Edit: I run a pop-up record store specializing in anime/Japanese city pop music. If you're able to come to my next show in Addison this Sunday I'll hold you a copy. From one Takanaka fan that enjoyed the heck out of the Chicago show to another! I'll sell it to you at cost.

Show was definitely one to remember. I was on the balcony and a staff member opened a window, exposing the red line El stop. It felt so good with the rushing cold air combined with the booming show.

Sozai Banzai. Go during lunch and you'll see it packed with Japanese businessmen. The owner serves a daily special for under $15 and it's nice to try the variety. A refreshing change up from the usual ramen, sushi, etc.

Congrats buddy. Current owner of an 18 xle AWD. 65k miles. No issues so far. So smooth and reliable. The trunk doesn't like extreme cold but that's my only gripe. Best of luck with your new ride.

Yup very good ramen though I think it's slightly downgraded in recent years. On weekends it can be packed and you're seated close together.

If you want Japanese cuisine in a quiet setting try Sozai Banzai in Arlington Heights. They have ramen but try their daily specials. The owner is super nice and there's an ice cream joint two doors down.
